Places to eat on the golf course always amazed me. This particular spot aims to please.
Met up with a buddy for lunch today, and the food and view are just simply amazing.
You get this great view of the surrounding mountains and hills, and fresh air fills the patio. It's great to watch the golfers walk by with their electronic golf carts about 5 or 6 ft in front of them. Amazing technology.
The staff is great, the waitresses come by quite often, and check on you. Very helpful, and I would say within a minute or two you can get your request filled for say extra ketchup, or extra dressing for your salad, Etc.
The food is great! I had the Hawaiian chicken salad. The chicken breast was tender, and you do get a lot of both the protein and the salad. You can always opt for extra protein if you want. I got my salad dressing on the side, and eventually got an extra side of dressing, so two total was the perfect amount for the huge salad.
Parking is free, usually plentiful. You may have to park some distance away if its peak golf time. But no big deal.
If you're in need of disability assistance, no problem. There are ramps leading everywhere, to the dining patio, to the bathroom, etcetera. I think this was knocking out two birds with one stone, since you'll probably need a ramp for your golf clubs, and at the same time this place took full advantage of the Disability Act by being able to use the same ramp for a wheelchair or rollator. Win. Win.
Anyways, if you're in the area, looking for something different than the Dozen gelato and ice cream places in ojai, give this place a try. Definitely a lot of good selection on the menu.

Food is fresh and very tasty! I love the tuna melt with jalapenos. Drinks are excellent and you can't beat the view. Great for eating outside on the patio. Service is always top notch!!!

Incredible food with an outdoor view that is an unparalleled in Ventura County. Great comfort food at affordable prices. We enjoyed the ambience and Mother Nature in her spring finest with a lunch of comfort food. The Gooey Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup was a real treat. Highly recommend the Gem of a Restaurant.

Zaidee's is located at the Soule Park golf course and having eaten at many golf course restaurants I wasn't expecting much. It turned out to be a great place to enjoy a casual lunch. The food was excellent and the view from the terrace was beautiful.
I love this little place. Menu is limited but it's all about the views. SUNSHINE, DUCKS, VEIWS! You can't go wrong. 😁
