The Ontario location has declined in quality. The cooks are sloppy and not attentive to customer requests. ( I asked that my vegs, onions, be cooked soft) And they are still served crunchy. The cook for last night was heavy on salt. Never ask customers if they desire more salt. The butter is salty enough. I will try Chino Hills. I have been an Ontario customer since their opening. It just may be time to change. Ontario quality of service has declined.

The cook could have entertained us a little. I know it's the 45 minute power lunch but we expected some type of cooking tricks. Server did not stay consistent with checking on table. The restaurant was not busy at all. We were his only focus.

We celebrated our 58th wedding anniversary at our favorite restaurant. We did select the Power lunch which perhaps since it was a special event we should have selected from the regular menu. It is nice that it's served quicker and at a good price, but we definitely missed the chicken fried rice and the Acknowledgment of our anniversary by the staff and our free ice cream which we have come to love believe it or not. I feel like there was less positive interaction between the staff and ourselves since there was no time. I do like the Power lunch alternative, but for me celebrating my anniversary , I wish it had been more special interaction.

I took my mom for lunch and it was not overly crowded. We had a great show and the food was delicious. We were celebrating her birthday! Waitress let us know about the Friends with Benefits program, which will be helpful for future visits.

We came and we sat at the lounge because we wanted to watch the football game. We ordered off of the $39 menu, which I don't know why we didn't do this before. We really don't care for the chef show. So this was going to be new to us. With this meal, I was able to order a salad. I got a full-sized sushi roll. I got hibachi steak, Fried Rice vegetables. All for $39 it was amazing. You can also order off the. Regular menu, but you don't get a show. I realize that they try to push the show. Because the chefs and the staff get more off of it. But this menu is even better. Because you get more food, you don't have to sit with strangers. And you can't beat the price. We decided next time. We come. We're always going to sit at the lounge.

Quality was definitely lost. Restrooms were discusting, understaffed and under trained. Finished 3/4 of my meal without a drink because the waitress was no where to be found. She had no communication with the cook on request by far worst experience I have ever had completely ruined our 2 sons birthdays we were celebrating.

If you make a reservation make it for 30 mins to 1 hour prior to the time you expect to be seated. They are very backed up. Made a reservation for 830 and wasn't called to be seated until 9 and service didn't begin until 930. They have to get the whole table seated prior to service. Our table had 3 different parties. We were seated first then waited for more to come based on party size that would fit. Then waited for chef to come as well. Lots of waiting. Not really impressed. They fill you up with rice and get very little meat, shrimp, chicken. Not worth it's hype.

The chef Kevin made it a night to remember with his poor attitude and lackluster personality,rushed the meals,got them plated on the wrong plates,worst experience ever in all the years that's I've been coming,family couldn't wait to leave,staff did comp us a bit,but I'd rather have paid the full price for a better experience,What was once a tradition for my wife's birthday to dine here,Now she wants to start a tradition elsewhere where this experience doesn't happen,Get Kevin some help,he doesn't seem suited for the job at hand

We love Benihana, however things have changed. The food was amazing but the teppanyaki show was lacking. Our table was primarily kids, family and we did not see any tricks or get an entertaining show. It felt very rushed by our servers and cooked. Our experience felt as if we were at any other restaurant nothing special.

It seems like this location never has enough servers. Our server was good but we rarely saw him. Our drinks stayed unfilled for quite sometime but it could be because he had multiple tables. Also the food here is always inconsistent. We had issues in October and tried giving this location another try but I think we are done unfortunately
The service at Benihana last night was outstanding. The cook and waitress attended to every need, and I didn't want for anything. We were very appreciative of how smoothly everything went. Thank you for the kind offer and I will definitely be back.

Prices are a little high for everyday but they use quality ingredients and provide a good show when they cook the food in front of you so for special occasions prices are fine. The reason I rated food so low was because the food was over seasoned. I remember coming years ago and the food was delicious. Now they are destroying the quality Ingredients with too much salt and pepper it's almost inedible. They also drown the veggies in sesame seeds I had to take my meal home and mix with plain white rice to cut the salt and pepper in order to eat it. This is the second time food has been over salted and last time I talked to the manager. Nothing has changed so I won't be going back.
