From the moment we arrived to the time we left, pure disappointment. The host staff was rude and acted unwelcoming and non communicative. We had a reservation for 630, but weren't sat until 730 ( same time as walk in patrons). The restrooms had trash overflowing all over the wet floor and were very unkept. The food was ok, but underwhelming for the price. We spent over 300$ to be have empty drinks throughout the experience and no attention paid to our needs. Overall a very disappointing experience for our 16 year olds bday. It's sad that even our young children and teenager recognized how much the restaurant has declined since our last visit.
Staff was super nice and profesional. Food was excellent. And to top it all off they sang happy birthday to my son who turmed 6. He absolutely loved every moment
I brought my 3 year old daughter for her birthday and she had an amazing experience. I got her the children's chicken and she tried everything! She was enthralled by our chef.
The staff must have just come from a meeting? We arrived a half hour early and we're sat down right away, but the entire visit felt rushed and two of the four staff members that we dealt with absolutely made us feel like they did not want to be there. There was an exception of the service at the bar and the greeter that handed us our utensils and plates as we started. But without getting into further detail, this was the worst service I've had in years as we do enjoy coming to Benihana's a few times a year with family and friends generally. Possibly it was bad service cause it was just after lunchtime? Not sure. The worst part of the Service was feeling rushed. Our check was on the table just about the time I was about halfway done with my meal and we were offered boxes for our leftovers about the same time. The entertainment part of our dinner was absolutely not the same as we've experienced in the past. The chef was very nice, but no doubt his conversation stated he would not be working there much longer. I did enjoy talking to him, but when you put it all together, it was a bad experience. Not sure what was going on. I still believe there must've been a meeting before the day started? Corporate can make some employees feel unwanted, and possibly there was a corporate meeting?
Great service, good food. This location is perfect never a long wait. Prices are getting a little steep, we only go when we have a $30 birthday reward.
Had a reservation at 7:30 PM. They did not seat us until like 830pm. Once seated It took them 30 minutes to bring us our drinks and another 20 minutes to bring us our soup. They were really disorganized. The chief came and started cooking 45 minutes after we were seated. The chief was a really good cook that is what made the difference. He seasoned the food really good.
We appreciated the Veteran's Day recognition. They were very busy, with noise level high, a long wait for our drinks and chef. Food was great. Chef was great.
We were seated immediately, the server seem to have many tables or distracted, she was slow to check on drinks and take our order. Celeste was our chef, what a great personality and good food, she made the meal entertaining. Then we were relying on the servers and again not the most speedy on paying, serving desert or getting us our to go rice, which we asked for 3 different times, finally we asked bus boy, who great and brought it right out. It was a special occasion, so wanted the traditional Benihana picture, having to ask a couple times, but with it raking long and they never cleared the plates, we didn't want the mess in the picture, we asked the host on the way out and she was great and did it right away. As a regular Benihana diner, food was above average, service was below average. It was not busy as we arrived, but was as we left. The location has a nice layout inside, large and not to loud.
Had reservations but waited a while until we finally started to eat, but worth every penny. Chef was funny and very entertaining and waitress was sweet.
They say power lunch in 45 minutes! Showed up 1:30. Got seated 1:45 because we missed our 1:15 reservation for party of 4. No waiter for a while. Hostess showed up and took our drink orders. Much later server brought our drinks. Our wine we ordered was not available. We ordered beer . 20 minutes later beer was served. Served messed up on our soup and salad orders. Tables seated after us were eating before we were. Only good thing was the chef was experienced and meal was cooked perfectly. Over 2 hour lunch. Server pleasant but clueless.

The reason to go to Benihana is that the food is pretty and it's very consistent. The only bad thing about this place is, that despite having a reservation, you end up waiting at minimum twenty minutes to be seated. However, that's when the experience changes and it becomes delicious and fun. The service was great, highlighted by our chef Kevin. His skills and professionalism were amazing, seasoning and preparing the food so well that it tasted like the first time I had Benihana. He amazed our kids with a never before seen lightsaber trick! He's our go to guy for future visits!
My date and I enjoyed the afternoon. They were very helpful with our food allergy requests.. the chef was very cordial and entertaining...
Reservation at 4:30 pm , didn't get food made til 6pm. Food was not good and over priced. I had somewhere to be at 5pm and it took so long to be seated and served food.
The general manager suspiciously thought some of the guest were trying to snark out their $48 drink in a plastic cup. Instead of walking over and explaining the rules of no drinks allowed to be carried out, he just went over and snatch the drink stating “ive been watching you”. His name is Scott and was very rude even to me and i suggested that he shouldnt have grabbed the drink before explaining snf providing the person to either drink it or throw it out. It was my guest first time at the Benihanas and they went for me. Ive been there numerous times and never purchased alcohol, so even i wasnt aware of this policy. But because of the rudeness frim Scott, that will be the last $1000 they make off anything associated for me.
The Chef and food were good. The service was mediocre at best. Waitress seemed uninterested. No birthday song, no picture. Had to ask for our dessert which was already included in our Trio order. But was quick to get payment. Worst birthday experience ever and I've been celebrating birthdays (as well as family birthdays) at this Benihana for the past 7+ years. Disappointed.
