We both had cheese burgers. Both were perfectly cooked medium rare. The french fries were so-so but served very hot. Chaffey's is in an Embassy Suites and is rather typical of that sort of establishment.
The food was decent. The staff working there though is really what made my experience really good. They pay attention to detail and even the chefs are working hard to satisfy their customers.
Depending what you order, the food can be ok or bad. The tortilla soup, caprese, mashed potatoes, fresh veggies and falafel were good. I do not recommend the brucheta(sun dried tomatoes, not fresh), or the fettuccine (olive oil, not cream sauce).The atmosphere was nice, cloth napkins, comfortable sturdy chairs, table setting,, with a modern feel.I should note we arrived 1 hour before closing and the only dinner table there, so there was a lot of clean up going on in the background...
