Nice to see ONT got more restaurants. The staff was friendly, and ordering was fast. The food was good, but it would have been nice to have the cheese a bit more melted on my breakfast sandwich. This location is small so you won't get a table if it's busy. Sign said they open at 6:00am but they were opne at 5:15am on a Saturday. Expect to pay airport prices.

Never had a bad experience with this location until today. chick-fil-A is supposed to be known for their great customer service. However today After speaking with the manager, Heather that’s not the case. Picked up breakfast before work today and when I got to my office it was wrong. She told me I would have to come back today in the middle of a storm if I wanted my order replaced. Mind you I’m a Red member so I’m there often and until today never any mess ups. I’m a business owner myself and totally understand mistakes happen. However how you rectify mistakes is key! I told her I wouldn’t be able to come back until tomorrow morning. She told me there’s nothing they can do unless I make it back today. Again in the middle of a storm before breakfast. So make sure you check your order before you leave because the customer you will receive if there’s an error is a joke!!

So I’m giving them 1* overall. Food is standard Chik-fil-A quality and the atmosphere is otherwise pleasant, but to offer military discount and then tell me, “I need to see actual military ID” when I’m showing them a RealID state drivers license with “Veteran” displayed on it is vexing. I’d be more forgiving of this if the response was that they only accepted Active Duty military ID (ex: Common Access Card or CAC), but apparently my VA Disability card was sufficient enough proof for the cashier - Natalie - which isn’t an active duty ID.I get that not everyone runs into military ID’s and that this is a very niche thing to even consider, but if you’re going to do something either do it correct or not at all. My state RealID says “Veteran” because I provided the state of California my DD-214, passport, and two proofs of residency. My ID should be enough for Chik-fil-A if it proved enough for the state of California to put it on there - even more-so considering it is the enhanced ID - and that they apparently are fine with my Disability ID, unless they are only acknowledging federal recognition and not state.I hope that the management provides some sort of clarification on this; being at an airport, you WILL be running into plenty of veterans and active duty, so having things be more clear for whoever is running the cash register would be fantastic. It is frustrating to be told my state ID is not enough and made to look like I’m lying for a discount when it is a government-issued identifier of my service.

Food didn't taste bad when I had it but the next day my sister and I both caught a stomach bug from our meal here. We know cuz she has a pretty consistent diet and didn't eat anything different except for her chick-fil-a breakfast sandwich. Two days after our breakfast here and we are both still sick. Not fun.

***Late post from my Oct 2023 East Coast trip*** After my 16 days East Coast trip, I have arrived back home at Ontario Int'l Airport. After deplaning, I was hungry and decided to get take-out from Chick-fil-A. Yes, there is a Chick-fil-A inside the airport. There were a few people in front of me. I guess everyone was thinking the same thing LOL. When I got up to order, the lady behind the register greeted me, but without a smile. I don't know... I'm a smiley kind of gal, but not everyone may be and that's okay. I got the deluxe Chick-fil-A sandwich. I may have gotten some waffle fries, too, but I don't remember at the moment. Anyway, sandwich was very good... big chunk of chicken with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. If I did get fries, it was good, too. I would have remembered if they were not good. Anyway, one observation I had was when I asked for water, the lady just ignored my initial request so I had to ask again. She gave me a look. Okay, I still want my water LOL. I eventually got my water. Also I didn't get my receipt so I had to ask for my receipt. The manager or shift lead person came over... also without a smile and I got a look from him, too. I felt like I was inconveniencing them with my requests LOL. I still got my receipt though. Thank you for my water and receipt! P.S. I will post photos later. Thanks for your patience.

I've been to a lot of airport "quick eats" this one shines! Super clean, the staff was so friendly!!! Food was hot and fresh. They had one employee circulating in the seating area refilling everyone's drinks. Highly recommend!
