We are visiting from Houston Texas. Not sure if it’s a Texas thing but the bartender did not know how to dress a beer with salt and lime. The Rock and Roll sushi was amazingly delicious. The nachos were great too, just served in a bowl not typical for us back home. The music was cool too, not too many spots play Banda. The service rendered by the bartender could use a little work. He was not very attentive to us perhaps because we are not his regular diners.
One of my favorite pork selections is carnitas! And love ordering it when it’s available on a street taco, especially when it’s served a bit more crunchy and that’s how Compadres Cantina serves them!
It was my first time there and they can expect me to be a regular as their food was extremely delicious, has a great ambiance and their Happy Hour selection is amazing too!

I was surprised to find the place alone. I was a little worried because usually if it's alone it's because it's bad, and finding a Mexican restaurant that serves good food is very difficult. But the food was very good. We liked everything. I have nothing bad to say about the flavor, portion, and presentation. 100%. Reasonable prices. The place is cozy.
