My Oma recommended this Dutch store and I’m so grateful I listened to her❤️It not only has my favorite Sambal Manis, but the woman that owns the store is so helpful and a beautiful person.

I've been coming here for years for my Dutch treats. When I stopped by the other day, I noticed that prices had gone up significantly. For example, a small piece of Gouda cheese was over$7,00. You can buy a good slice at Costco for less than$10,00. The same is true with chocolate sprinkles. But, it's still one of the few places I go to when I'm in the area.Parking: It's located in the same parking lot as Stater Bros.

I feel sorry I need to write this review. I was in the store a few days ago and bought $180 worth of items. To have gone there occasionally I don't mind spending a little money, however , they are extremely overpriced. I compared prices to Amazon ( for the licorice), v/d Veens and the Holland American store in Bellflower. Dutch bakery runs a few dollars more per item on the items I compared. I had the thought that their favorite number must be 5.95 , as the majority of items regardless are each priced 5.95.I called them today because I bought 2 containers of goud kuipje spreadable cheese. I opened one today and the item had " seperated", runny and chunks , and smelled like a really bad rotten blue cheese or something.. just disgusting and the whole house stunk from it. She called me back and said that the next time I was in they'd give me another one. You know, I am totally over them now it was so disgusting, I will never eat it again in my life, I don't think. Why would they not just offer the money back?? Very strange! The other item was the chocolate covered orange sticks. The inside was not a jellied orange candy inside, but the candy had crystallized inside. The chocolate was white covered on the outside, indicating it had been melted and exposed to too high a heat. She said she could not do anything me on those because the expiration date on them is 8/ 2024. In either case, something happened to them to ruin them... probably in the summer they sat in extreme heat. I bought a box of chocolate for my daughter as a gift I'll be giving her in 2 weeks when I see her. I sure hope the chocolate in the box is fine.My advice is , be careful what you purchase.. some items are old and spoiled.

I make it a point to go there when I'm in the area. A nice variety of Dutch products and great customer service.

So we found this little cute place because we were trying a new Italian sandwhich shop a couple doors down. Our food was gonna take like 20 mins so we decided to walk around the little strip mall. So glad we did. We found this little Dutch Bakery. I absolutely love little places like this! Immediately after walking in, we greeted by a very friendly girl! This store was filled with many sweets. Candy, cookies, food. We decided to get an opinion of a customer, and bought a couple things she said that were Authentic Dutch. All I can say is get the Butter Thins! My husband and I ate half the package on the way home! We also got some chocolates that were also amazing and a Speculaasbrokken which it's huge and so good! Everything was great! I only wish there was more fresh bakery items, but was told we could order some cakes. So we are looking forward to the next holiday to put our order in. The day we went, there were so many people that were coming into the store not even knowing it existed. Spread the love and tell everyone to give this little shop a try!

So authentic, from the initial aroma when I walked in, to the wonderful selections. (I've been going here for over 40 years)

Watch out for protein items with freezer burn among the shrink-wrapped proteins with broken seals. I see more and more of these lately as the owners appear intent on selling these no matter what.

Such a cute shop! We've lived in SoCal most of our lives, but Yelp and general improvement of technology has allowed me to find these shops that I'd never know existed. I was actually searching for German restaurants, but Dutch Bakery and Variety Foods popped up somewhere in the results, and I bookmarked it. We finally had a chance to make a stop this weekend. So cute. You have everything from quick snacks (cookies, mints, fruit candies, chocolates), to house trinkets and decor (they have fuzzy clog slippers... how adorable is that??), to cheeses and certain pastries (in the fridge). No fresh produce, but the canned section/pantry section has a good chunk of options. I definitely eyed the gherkins and pickles. And, of course, they almost had an entire aisle of packaged licorice, including the black licorice. They also have some spices and baking mixes. Overall, the name of the store states exactly what they have. I ended up getting cookies, mints, fruit tea, peanut butter, and a sticker; basically, things to tie me over during work. Will be back!

Small store but it's just enough. Always carries what I go in for. And they're always very friendly.

I recently moved to Upland, and my mom told me about this Dutch bakery in Ontario. My grandparents were from the Netherlands, and every now and then I crave some salty black licorice (Which I greatly disliked as a child, but now I see the light). So I came in looking for licorice, and boy did they have it. Larger selection of licorice, and other candies, than any other Dutch bakery that I have seen. Pastries, Stroopwaffles, Cheese, Decorative Signs, Stickers, Coffee Mugs, Cookies, Crackers, Etc... I would highly recommend you check it out and support your local small business owners.

I wanted something sweet and saw the sign for Dutch Bakery. I was expecting a bakery but it is actually a mini grocery store filled with Dutch items. Lots of cookies, candies and sweets! And the famous Dutch black licorice. Not my favorite but they have so many different kinds I'm sure I would like one of them ! I bought some cookies and candies and I will be back for more !
