The food is good but it's really on the relatively pricy side. Tacos shouldn't be $4.00 and $5.00 for one taco each. The plate for $12 only came with 3. They don't do any taco Tuesday specials either. It's too bad too. Again the tacos I ordered were good. I had the chorizo, asada, chicken, and al pastor. The seasoning was great, not over salted at all, natural flavoring, I really liked it. But I paid a little over $16 for 4 tacos. And they were street taco size too.

I've been coming for so many times even the boss lady knows me as the Honda person. This time, the coke machine didn't work because it has no soda water in there. I told the cashier lady and she said no problem, just grab a can out of the fridge for now. After done eating, I wanted to get a refill because I paid for the fountain drink. She said I have to pay for a new drink. I told her it doesn't make sense since it's the fountain drink machine not working that she gave me a can coke. I proceeded to get my refill anyways. Now she's insisting that I need to pay for the can coke. In the end, I paid for both and I'm never coming back again despite being a regular customer. Think about it, is it worth losing a regular customer who was going to bring you more profit and get a bad review over $2?

I ordered a carne asada burrito,, the burrito got filled with lots of beans and lots of rice no carne asada . Only a few litle pieces inside. I would've been better off ordering a bean and cheese burrito instead.

It's the worst serving of chilaquiles in 50 years of dining! 1 1/2 tortilla ,one small spoon of beans and rice. Salsa for chilaquiles was good,but this a serving for a kid,ridiculously over priced. We hopped from el patio in Chino, to Taylor's cafe 1/2 mile from here, (was closed) brought family of 9 for breakfast, disappointed everyone....never again it's bad ,greedy or idk what it is with this Mexican Business 11-15.00 per a plate this size

The heavyset woman who knows English is sarcastic. The young Hispanic girl at the cashier doesn’t know English. I went there today and asked for a large soda and wanted to see how large the cup was and the heavyset woman took over the conversation and when I asked to see how large the soda cups were she said 32 ounces and I said, can I see the cup? she sarcastically said you don’t know what 32 ounces is? That’s not the point. I said 32 ounce sodas come in different cups, so it was clear she just wanted to be sarcastic with me. Then I asked that the sour cream be put on the side and it was poured all over the taquitos that I ordered. I also asked for one Al Pastor taco and she was trying to confuse me and said do you want one Al Pastor taco or do you want one Al Pastor taco plate and I said one Al Pastor taco and she said single? And I said yes so I didn’t get why She was the one that didn’t understand one taco, I never said plate but it felt like she was trying to get me to say plate. Then they scimped on the rice and beans, napkins and when I asked for extra napkins, she said, didn’t they put any in there?!, I said a few, but can I have a few more? She gave them to me I also asked her for an extra green chili and an extra red chili cuz I was sharing my taquito plate with my husband and they gave them to me but then she says anything else ma’am?! In a sarcastic way, so I will never be going back there again , and then they let me leave without my soda. I had to drive back to get the soda that to me was more expensive than any other taco hole in the wall place I’ve ever been to so again I will not be returning to El Chilito. P.s. the little salsa containers had air in them showing they were spoiled. After I ate their not so good food, I got the runs. The food isn’t even hot when they give it to you and they take forever to cook the food.

I purchased a to go Caldo de pollo for 14.99 they gave me 20 ounces container with semi flavored water only one piece of carrot one piece of zucchini one piece of potato and one drumstick. No tortilla, they also gave me very little rice . Very disappointed since I was really sick and need a chicken soup to feel better. I came here on a Monday bc Casa Cortez is closed on Mondays so I gave this place a chance. :( i will not recommend to anyone. I called them to let them know not to charge so much for their garbage food. Go to Casa Cortez ignore and drive by this place.

The breakfast burritos here are so delicious! They have a wide variety of types including my favorite, nopales. Most Mexican restaurants are limited to a couple of basic meat options. Their green sauce is delicious too. I’m surprised the overall ratings for this place aren’t higher. My family and I have ordered a variety of different dishes and everything is delicious. The owner is super friendly too.
