El Pescador Mexican Grill

We came here for a my mom’s friends birthday on a Sunday. I ordered the chicken and asada enchiladas with rice and beans, it was good and was able to take half home for later. My mom ordered the menudo and it was very salty. Lastly my aunt ordered the fish plate and she didn’t enjoy it. The customer service was great the waiter was very nice and also the supervisor. My recommendations would be to allow the check to be split more than just twice for a large group of people. Also use a little less salt for the menudo and to improve on the fish plate. Besides that if you are going for drinks they have a large variety. Thank you for the experience.

I came to try out El Pescador restaurant in the city of Ontario. Being a first generation Mexican I can tell you that the food here is Incredibly delicious. Their margaritas are awesome very flavorful. It looks like they use good tequila. The first bad impression that I got when I got here there was nobody in the front to Greet me and sit me down I had to ask do I walk in or do I just wait here that’s the only negative part that I got from this restaurant but I can tell you that my waitress her name is Helen. She is awesome has great customer service skills Helen gave me a great idea to build my own plate at my liking. it’s not a plate on the menu but is something helen made it happen for me because I told her what I felt like eating like, I said Helen is awesome having people like her at this kind of restaurants, I can also tell that This restaurant is closely managed by the owner and his family makes it even better. It feels like they really care about their customers and the service they provide. I really recommend El Pescador Restaurant city of Ontario to everybody. Awesome food great customer service just ask for Helen!!👍

Worse El Pescador I have been too. We ordered 2 regular Mocajetes I asked the lady if corn tortillas were handmade and she said yes. They were not handmade. Our mocajete came out and had no chorizo. I told the server she said sorry they forgot to put it in. The flour tortillas were hard as if they have them warmed up wrapped in aluminum under light. Salsa for the chips seemed very fishy and our water cups were fishy. Never will I recommend this place.
Please try El picture in Fillmore. That place is the best with handmade corn tortillas with delicious mocajete salsa and beautiful atmosphere.

What a surprise! I had the steak fajitas and they were very tender and not tough like many places. Flavor was great. The Margaritas were excellent. The atmosphere was great. Our server Berna was above and beyond. My wife can’t take spicy guacamole and he prepared her some without jalapenos. The manger was very gracious and attentive to our needs. Victor is the manager and we highly recommend this place for a great night out for food and drinks.

The atmosphere and food are equally excellent. The decor is fun and festive. The tables and booths are clean and sleek. The food is delicious. I had a combo plate with beef taquitos and a shredded chicken hard taco - it was fresh and very tasty. My plate came with rice, beans, a small salad, guacamole, and sour cream. There are a lot of seafood options, but for those who aren't into seafood, there are plenty of non-seafood options. If you want an adult beverage, there is a large selection to choose from. We'll be coming back again.
