What a terrible way to spend Father's Day! Don't go here!! They would not seat us for 10 minutes because they did not have enough menus, however they kept seating other parties. When we were seated we sat 15 minutes without being acknowledged at which point I got a manager who wasn't really concerned. Eventually someone can over and took our drink order and brought one tiny basket of chips for 6 people. After ordering food our server went on break and 40 minutes later I had to find someone to check on our food at which point we were told there were two tickets in front of us....five minutes later everyone's food came out cold and my dad's did not come at all. We tried to choke some cold food down, it was disgusting...and about 7 minutes later my dad's food came out COLD! Upon asking for a manager I was told that we were never told that there were not enough menus and that the food was warm when it left the kitchen...I said, "shouldn't it be hot?" and she said yes and then argued and made excuses. She then told me that they would give us 20% off....no one ate their food and you only want to give us 20% off??? The general manager, who wouldn't come talk to us, finally comped the food and we paid for our alcohol...this was after telling then that this is not the right way to handle a customer situation. the restaurant was filthy, not enough employees, food is generic and probably heated in the microwave and service is beyond poor. Don't go here! The restaurant next door had an hour wait, obviously they knew not to come here.

Making a reservation there is unnecessary. Despite this, we experienced a 30-minute wait to be seated, and the service and food were extremely disappointing. The food quality was particularly poor.

Went here for Father's Day brunch. Had a reservation at 11:15 am and they had us seated by 11:20 if that, it was very quick. The spread was pretty great from classic food like birria, enchiladas, beans and rice, have an omelette bar, soup area, more American foods for kids, someone slicing ham and steak, aguas frescas, bottomless mimosas and much more. I'd definitely come back and recommend coming here for brunch. Their coffee machine has been broken for a while but just don't come for the coffee and you'll have a great time.

Great meal for our son's post graduation party and service by Brenda was fantastic! The food is better than I had remembered and the prices reasonable. Great time

There is a lot of food and all was fresh and hot it was a real buffet brunch make sure you make a reservation very crowded.I service was very good and the mimosas was bottomless.I went to the El Torito in Ontaro it was a great experience now I want to go and try their lunch buffet.

Food was not good and overpriced go support your local Mexican restaurant instead. Some waiters were rude one of them basically threw the plate on the tables the energy was not it. This is the first time I make a review because that's how disappointing the food was. There are better places out there w better ambience

It was Mother's Day so wait times were high. Our server was an absolute sweetheart, but he was clearly overwhelmed too many people.

We arrived for a 4:45 reservation and still had to wait a while for our table (about 15 minutes). I was told that if we had a reservation, it meant that we would get priority, which sounded like they would seat us before others instead of our reservation time. While we arrived early, we were never told when our table would be ready even after we asked. I think the host may have been overwhelmed with having such a busy day since it was Mother's Day and the restaurant. Once we got seated, we were attended to right away. The waiter was attentive, and handled the business of the restaurant well. I just wished he would have brought napkins and silverware when he brought our chips and salsa, and not after the food we we ordered.

Service was horrible, no utensils, no drinks , no chips . Got food and had to wait for forks . The waitress was overwhelmed. No management to help out . We had a reservation, and still had a long wait to be seated. We have been here plenty of times for mother's Day, this was the worst experience. I had 1 Mimosa because our waitress was lost . $42.00 dollars to get cold food , bad service and no drinks. How would you feel? Thank you for ruining my mother's Day brunch
The mother's day buffet was over booked. Waited 35 minutes over reservation time. Once seated the place was packed could not hear anyone at the table because of the noise. Food was decent but staff were very slow replenishing food items. Will not book again for mothers day.

Despite a gazillion number of people they served on Mothers Day they did an admirable job keeping food replenished & the champagne flowing. Reservations were honored a bit late, but all else was up to par.

Made reservations for five people about two months prior, but still had to wait for another 30 minutes, then we were seated at plastic, temporarily table, in the middle of an aisle. Won't be going back anytime soon or on a holiday. El Torito made a fortune, but the customers did not have a good experience.

Server/cook came out with food and asked what we ordered then put only one plate down on our table. Went back for another plate and asked again what else we ordered. 5 minutes later brought children's food. One of our plates had uncooked food and was not prepared as requested. The other plate was cold like it had been sitting in kitchen. Item was returned and taken off bill. Overall, horrible experience and will not be returning.
