I ordered the 1 pound fish and shrimp. They were excellent! Freshly cooked and the quality is excellent. The breading is not salty, but was just right. The customer service was excellent too! They are very helpful and make sure your order is complete and made perfect. I definitely recommend!

My first time visiting Fishhook and overall I was pleased with the flavor of the food. The customer service was excellent several people assisted me in the use of a voucher and even followed up by phone to make sure I was given what I had purchased. I will definitely be back to try other menu items but today it was catfish, shrimp, oysters, greens, Mac n cheese, and potato salad.

I actually didn't try the food because it took too long. My sister and I waited for over an hour for our food only to ask for a refund. Other people were in the restaurant prior to us and had been waiting for over an hour as well. This is crazy for fried fish to take this long. This was in the month of March.

I just had the Po Boy sandwich and it was the best I've ever had by far. The quality and service were excellent. The shrimps they used on the sandwich were huge and delicious. I'll definitely be making a trip back.

I took my Mississippi raised mama here for lunch. Made it just before the rush, the food took a little while to come out (15-20 minutes approx.) but that’s just goes to show how freshly made everything is. We loved it!! Nothing was over seasoned or super greasy. The service was very very pleasant and detailed. I will definitely be back with my dad very soon. 9/10 recommend.

The cashier told us before we ordered that the dinners came with four pieces of fish but when we got our food there were only three pieces. The fish was good but very small pieces and the side orders were ok. If you want better tasting fish and bigger pieces go to Pomona Fish Market. Not enough fish for the price here.
A friend recommended this restaurant and I am so mad that I have only discovered it. I can kind of see why as it's a little hidden but it's a hidden gem! I visited on a Wednesday around 530pm and it wasn't crowded. I ordered: a mixed combo with fillet of sole, shrimp, mac&cheese and greens. I also got the red snapper with hush puppies and fries. I did have to wait because everything is made fresh and did see a lot of people who had to go orders, so I'll probably call mine in next time. Everything was really good, just beware the red snapper does have bones but the sole was good. Greens are on point and so was the mac. Can't wait to come back and try other items!

The food was good. They kinda pricey if you want to add a good side because they consider Mac and cheese a premium side so it's more along with other soulfood it's. The marble red velvet cake was terrible. It was dry and box cake taste. Thumbs down to the desert but the fish and shrimp were good
So Bomb. Salmon salad on one visit and a fried fish combo with greens on the side on the other. The food is fresh and delicious.

Fish over cooked and French fries were lukewarm if that. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. Been here several times so surprised that standards have gone down. Very disappointing. We didn't eat much of the food at all. I want a refund! $45 down the drain.
