Whenever I come to visit my family in the area, Get Sum Dim Sum is where I come for amazing food. The flavors and textures are incredible. My favorite savory dish is the shrimp and leek dumplings and for dessert, the lava buns. If you want to find comfort food in Southern California, this is where you should go. Since I live far away, I do not get to eat here as often as I would like so I’ll have to live vicariously through you. Enjoy!

Probably the best dim sum in the area. It's like a modern downsized version of a traditional dimsum restaurant. It's recommended for those new to dimsum or if you don't want drive all the way to the SG Valley. They give you a picture menu and you check off your order on a paper list that's all in English. The menu is pared down from a traditional dimsum menu but most of the favorites are available. We ordered about half a dozen items. Shanghai dumplings...

The rice rolls are very authentic, highly recommended!
The glutinous rice chicken dumplings are full of flavor, the xiaolongbao is more like frozen food, and the shiitake mushroom siomai is fatter and lacks the mushroom flavor.
