I arrived at terminal 4, so excited for my flight always go for a preflight beer. I have never been to Jakes at Ontario thought I might give it a try. To start I am 24 years old, have flown out of Ontario many times and have ordered beer at Rock N Brews for example. The bartender, rude demeanor, said "I can't serve you" after looking at my ID. I looked at him puzzled and said why? He said "it's portrait not sideways"... I laughed and said I'm 24 years old, born 1998. I have been served before at this airport. He then proceeds to say "who served you because no airport can serve that kind of ID".... I was so shocked. I just got up and left. Every airport I have been to, HAS SERVED ME SINCE I WAS 21! Lmao maybe train your bartenders to know a real ID before you turn business away...From other reviews I'm not the only one with an unpleasant experience. Not sure how this place even gets service. Ridiculous.

Heading to Austin for the F1 race. Leaving out of gate 10 at Ontario Airport.. all the seats in the waiting area are taken so sat down in Jakes Bar and Lounge where u have to order something to have a seat .. so I ordered a water. "Sorry Sir we don't sell water, only alcohol". But it's only 9:30 in the morning .. so $35 later, I got a seat... and a beer I didn't want. Come to find out there's a new Aspire lounge around the corner where I could have sat for awhile... maybe the waiter could have pointed that out?

The bartender Gil, is incredibly rude and disrespectful to patrons of the bar. I have been at that bar 11 times in the past 2.5 months only to watch him be a complete j*** to people who walk up. After 11 visits he sasses me and asked for my ID, he sees me every week! Then he said "I don't care how old you are, I card everyone any time they sit here" I responded " well my friend, you forgot to card me the last 10 times I've been here". He in turn said....too bad! Did I mention it doesn't matter what time of day it is, he always says he just ran out of food? I will never give my money to this place even though it's a sister company of rock and brews near the southwest terminals where the service from Felica, Sandy and Jen has always been outstanding! FYI, the only reason there's people now is because the flight is about to take off. Head over to R&B on the other side for a much nicer time while waiting for your flight!

Stopped in for a drink, the owner refused to let my wife sit with me while I enjoyed my drink because she did not order one. Ridiculous!!!
