Very casual environment. Food is decent. Portions are medium. The fact that they can't tell you definitively if they put dairy in something is silly.

Without the ingredient fiasco it may deserve another star 3/5.

I’ve been to Jikan Sushi several times and usually enjoy the food and atmosphere, so I was excited to bring my sister and nephew for what I hoped would be a fun dining experience. Unfortunately, this visit left much to be desired. One of our orders took an unusually long time to arrive, and when it finally did, the salmon appeared to be leftover pieces with visible white stripes, as if they had run out of fresh product. Instead of serving it, I would have appreciated them offering to make something else. While we waited nearly 30 minutes for my sushi roll, my sister and nephew had already finished their ramen, which was quite disappointing.
The service was inconsistent, and I couldn’t help but feel embarrassed after talking up the restaurant to my family. I hope the team can return to their usual standard of food and service quality, as this visit didn’t live up to the experiences I’ve had in the past.

Sashimi salad was good. Decent rolls, got the caterpillar roll, red pearl, and the Sara (my fave). Negori sake was good. Salmon collar was good and plentiful, but they ran out of the yellowtail collar, which is what we originally wanted. A lot of people around us got the ramen

The only issue I have is the charge more for a party over four people. This should be posted up front not a surprise when receiving your bill. Other than that this place is amazing

Food is good- that’s why 3 stars, but doesn’t have that crisp fresh taste , edamame was over cooked and soggy , service was non existent we had to flag someone down to get wasabi and soy sauce with our sushi rolls. Took a while. Never came back to see if we wanted anything else.

Go if large servings and cheap beer is your thing. But the sushi quality is just poor which is on par with the awkward service. Not for me.

It's 10pm and you absolutely need a Spider Roll. Rolled up on this spot based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Miso soup was flavorful and delicious. Rainbow Roll was tasty with big pieces. Crunchy Roll lived up to expectations the Spider Roll was a delight. Service was on point and good music in the background.

I came to this restaurant, unexpectedly, having a bad day, because I missed my flight at the Ontario aiport. Feeling hangry and upset, I decided to give this place a try, as it was late last night, and they were open until 12 a.m. My server Brian was extremely nice and attentive, sitting me down and assisting me right away. The sushi chef at the bar, John, was also extremely welcoming and made some delicious rolls for me to eat. Will for sure be back, when I am back in Ontario for business next time.
