Stopped by Kape Republik for a Filipino dessert fix and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Kakase (a Spanish Latte with condensed milk) and a Halo-Halo. Both were delicious and totally hit the spot — sweet, satisfying, and full of flavor.

The place is small and cozy with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving Filipino treats. I’ll be back for more!

a very disappointing trip if you are craving halo halo and filipino dessert you will receive a large serving of shave ice with no flavor. and the bake goods at stale take like dried power… whoever think this place is good must be a family member.. other than what they sell service was an A plus

We LOVE this bakery! So delicious with just the right sweetness! And they have a large variety of flavors! So excited to find a Filipino bakery in the IE!

Super tasty pastries - the cheese roll was nearly as good as Portos, and the smores cookie was deliciously sweet. The chicken empanada was a little dry, but the flavor was worth it. If those are the less popular items, I'll definitely come back to try the fan favorites!

I strolled in on a Sunday, ready to indulge in all the sweet treats I’d heard so much about from this bakery, but let’s just say my mouth was left a little less than satisfied. I was super eager to try the much-raved-about Halo Halo, but decided to explore other temptations instead. I picked up a Buko (coconut) Pandan Crinkle, a Banana Turon, an ube brownie, and another ube delight—because who can resist ube?

But hold up—cue the dramatic music! A fly was buzzing around one of the ube cupcakes in the case, and I quickly made my exit from that option. I figured I’d play it safe with a chicken pesto bomb. While it packed a nice flavor punch, it was dry and, honestly, about the size of a pinhead!

I really wanted to love this place because it’s a new gem in town, but sadly, the pastries had the vibe of being a day old. I hate to rain on their parade, but I’m hoping for a miraculous comeback next time! 🌈🍰

Meh. Cake is too expensive, and empanadas are sooo tiny, for $3.50 a pop i expect some flavor and a little bigger. I won't recommend nor return.

I just want to ask. No hot latte? No hot coffee? Where the heck is the HOT Coffee?

Ordered a Red Velvet Crinkle, Uber Flan Cupcake, a house milk tea, and a cookies and cream smoothie.

The pastries are great. The drinks are alright.

But their service is amazing.

We were just waiting for one more drink not realizing that they forgot one drink. And when they realized, they let us know right away and and even refunded 2 of our drinks even tho it was just one.

We appreciate you ladies!
