First time here …I got the Katsu chicken and a bowl of bbq chicken for my kid the portion is big… but the teriyaki sauce and the Mac is disappointing…maybe I’ll try something else next time around… oh yeah the old guy on the counter seems grumpy….

Hadn't been here in a while. Not sure if it changed ownership. I had the kalua pork not as good as I remembered. The one thing I used to like was the macaroni salad ... ZERO flavor. My husband said the same about the the salad. Will think twice before I decide to maybe try this place again.

My first time eating here and i was not disappointed. The Thai tea was really good. That’s soy sauce with honey (i think it was honey) on the rice was fire. They gave me the wrong order but that’s ok i was uncertain what to choose anyway and i enjoyed the meal. Overall, i recommend this place. It’s like a party in my mouth and the DJ is playing the right tunes.

I grab food here all the time and I love it. I really like the short ribs, chicken, and chicken katsu. The rice is the perfect amount of sticky.. the macaroni salad could use some celery bits and tomato bits honestly, it's a bit bland but i love macaroni salad so im okay with it. the cabbage is good. I've never had slow or bad service, contrary to some other people - but you cant please everyone.Anyway, I think the portions are very fair for the price and they are heaviest on the meat which is why I like it, I like sides but I come for the meat and it doesn't matter how good a place is, if there is 3 bites of meat and great sides that's not my thing. This place has reasonable sides but a lot of meat.the beef is okay but the short ribs are so much better i have trouble wanting to get the beef (although the portion on the beef seems a little more generous).Anyway. it's not a special gem, but sometimes a place doesn't need to be. I get a pile of meat that's good very quickly and easy to take home, good reheated. that's what I want from this place and they deliverParking: Lot of open parking convenient

I have had Hawaiian BBQ and this place falls short in all the aspects. The meat was tasteless, and the Mac salad was bland. Ike it doesnt have any mayonnaise.There's an extra charge for sauce... but give you water down Sriracha.Parking: In front of restaurant

As far as the food it's okay, I always get the chicken katsu from any HB place I go to. I can't remember how it was the first time I went here and I hate just giving a review off of one experience as it could have just been an off day, so I will go back so I can clarify. Went here for the 2nd time today for lunch and luckly my co worker called it in on our way or else our hour lunch prob would have been spent waiting to eat instead of actually eating. As soon as we walked in we were standing by the registered and we both looked at each with wide eyes like hot diggity dog this place is jam packed, I then turned around to see how many people were eating compared to how many were holding receipts in their hands as the employee called out numbers I watched about 80 percent of the filled house check their numbers like it was the lotto. I then told my co worker just that. As we both asked each other why did we take the later lunch at work? Never again, at least not if I plan on eating here. I always give credit where credit is due so I will say all the workers were really busting their behinds. I even made a comment to my friend to watch how fast these people are moving good God they must get burnt out by the end of the rush. luckly it wasn't long after that our numbers hit and we went and collected our winnings, some lunch. Since the order was called in I noticed we snubbed our food before half the people sitting around that were there prior to our arrival. Definitely call it in! Thanks for the hard work, you all don't go unnoticed! The only thing is my chicken had some pieces that were just breading without any chicken in them. What the Cluck! I forgot to ask my co worker how their entree was and didn't eat with em when we got back to work so couldn't tell you how that mixed Hawaiian meat plate is. The pieces that were filled with chicken on my plate were good though it was prob like 65 to 35 percent ratio of chicken to just breading pieces. Don't eat cold food so couldn't tell you how the macaroni salad is. Sorry :/ all and all was good and very impressed with the hard work that makes up for the pieces with no chicken. If you enjoy some hb I say give it a whirl.
