Working close to the bakery was a plus..would buy goodies and on holidays buy my cherry and pineapple cheese cake..loved this bakery..

Cupcakes are OK. Taste like bakery cupcakes from anywhere else pretty much. Pretty good price if you get it through Groupon. Homemade is still definitely better

Contacted them via phone call and email with details on what I wanted on a simple cake and they ended up doing what they wanted. No text was on it, the color wasn't the color I asked and not once but twice did this happen. I ordered 2 separate cakes on different dates and they both weren't what I had asked. What is the point of asking what one wants when you won't follow through. Never coming again and won't recommend.

This bakery used to be good. They can't ever make anything we ask for anymore. Every time I order any cake I always have trouble with this baker. They always say no sorry we can't make that. No sorry we can't do it in that color. No sorry we can't make it that big. No sorry we can't. They can't do anything. They're definitely not known for big amazing cakes. They're known for basic boring cakes. The baker is horrible. He doesn't know how to make anything. The baker is very incompetent. He is not well qualified in my opinion. I am sure I am not the only one. I don't know how he calls himself a baker if he can't make a lot of things. I've had to go to different bakery because if this. Smaller bakery businesses can make what I ask for. But this so called big bakery can't. So many restrictions. It's ridiculous. This isn't my first time dealing with this incompetent bakery. This definitely will be the last. After 11 years of coming to this bakery. I will no longer be coming here again. The staff is also really rude!

Been coming here most my life, I remember the shop when it was actually located just a little more south from where it is today. That was when Kaiser was still across the street.From what I understand the current owners purchased it from the previous owner around the mid to late the 80's, and have continued to use the same recipes all this time. They did the cake for my parents wedding (wasn't alive yet, no idea how it was), my wedding, and my sister's wedding. And multiple birthdays and parties.If you need a beautiful cake that tastes great, this is your place! Great selection of cake and filling flavors. If you need something they don't have, they might be able to help you out, suggest you go in and discuss.Will this cake make you an overnight success on social media? No. But it will look great in pictures and everyone will be pleased with the cake.Last visit they were able to make a beautiful cake with pretty flowers on top for a birthday. It was so pretty some rando in the shop (a customer) took a picture of it, unusual.The cookies and other items are good, not the best I've ever had, but if someone brought me something from here I would be very pleased.Staff are very friendly, able to be quite accommodating. Shopping center parking can be a pain. Parking, entrance, and counter are all accessible. I don't believe there are restrooms. Hope you get to try them out sometime.

We had our wedding at Shannon Hills golf club, they have a built-in deal with Ontario bakery for the wedding cake. We had difficulty getting an appointment to do it cake testing as they often don’t answer the phone. When we made our appointment and came in the staff was kind, but very busy and once they found out we already had it set up through Shandin Hills, they told us there was nothing else we needed to do it was all paid for and taken care of. When it came time to finalize our order, they didn’t have any records of our tasting or cake preferences and we had to give them to them again, Cathy called and said we needed to speak with her directly. But she was the same person we saw when we did our taste testing. It was hard getting a hold of them to finalize the details. The spice cake was delicious, and the cake turned out beautiful. The flowers were done by a different vendor. Delicious cake, absolutely. Customer service pretty good, it’s just difficult to get a hold of them. LGBTQ friendly, I would definitely purchase a cake from them again.

I love this place but it would be nice if they would update their hours on here because I sat in the parking lot waiting till 10 O’clock so that I could buy some thing this morning. Please update your hours.
They did such a great job for my son's birthday. We were here last month. The cake was so moist and the frosting was amazing, not too sweet. Very well done.. Thank you for my making my kiddos birthday a great day.

Tried to call them numerous times throughout the day today to place a cake order kept getting a voice message so went down there and they were closed at 5 but yet the website states they close at 6 soooo upset so we went thru another bakery and will not be going thru you anymore
