Porter's Prime Steakhouse – Looks the Part, Falls a Bit Short 🥩🍷 We had high hopes for Porter's Prime Steakhouse, especially given the upscale atmosphere and elegant setting within the hotel. It definitely looks like a high-end steakhouse, but unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't quite live up to the price tag. The meal wasn't bad—everything was good—but for the cost, we expected more refined flavors and better execution. The steak lacked the depth and tenderness you'd hope for at this level, and overall the experience felt more average than exceptional. If you're going for ambiance and convenience, it checks the box. Food was great! Service was amazing. My only critique and it isn't even a big deal is that a coat rack should be accesible so we could've taken off our coats and hung. They kept falling off of our chairs.

My family was very hot while inside with no consideration of air conditioning. We even had to ask for ice to put in our water, as ice was not automatically provided. The food took forever and other tables were getting their food before ours, even when they came way later. The person cleaning our tables was constantly rushing us. We would put a plate down and he would grab it immediately when we weren’t even finished with it. It got to a point where we were going to pack some fries and then he just grabbed the plate without even asking if we were done with it, deciding to toss it without customer consent. Few dollars wasted right there from their end and ours. I understand if we were being rude and overstaying, but we had to wait a fairly long time to get food until 30 minutes before closing, so if he was rushing us, it was unreasonable. Service was awful. Food was average. Do not go here, it is a waste of time and energy.

The service and the food are always top notch at Porter's. I have tried a handful of different dishes now, and they were all excellent.

Although pricey, everything was delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the pasta dishes were very tasty. The service was amazing, attentive and through.

Our waitress was very friendly, however the food wasn't very good. Ordered the prime rib. It was tough, dry and bland. The sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus were tasty. The other dish we ordered was the ribeye steak sandwich. The bread was dry and fell apart as I tried to eat it. The ribeye steak was so so, it lacked flavor. Will not be returning.

Prime rib special was not very good. Asked for medium but was over cooked and dry. The bolognese pasta was very small portioned for the price. I wouldn't recommend this steakhouse but I should have known it's inside the hotel.

I've had many meals here for meetings and only once was it good.

Even though we went for Mother's Day dinner, it was pretty quiet which was nice! The staff is always very attentive, friendly and very professional! The food was incredible! Overall, I had a very wonderful Mother's Day evening!

Love this place! My steak was perfect 😋 I can't wait to go back.

I was there on business and took myself to the restaurant. I was seated right away, given delicious bread and butter, my server saw me immediately. I had a great steak salad. The whole experience was lovely. I will stay in the same hotel again just to eat there again.

Everything was good here except for my filet mignon It was supposed to be medium well and I didn’t wanna make a big deal so my husband just cooked it more when we got home

I have been going to Porter's for at least 35 years though only on occasion. During that time it has been where I go and take friends for dinner when near Ontario Airport. It has always had premier service. food, and ambiance. Yesterday's dinner was no exception.

Ask was great. My steak had some odor to it. Felt like it was unfrozen minutes before they threw it in the grill. I didn’t want to say anything because I had guests who were enjoying their time.
