Very bad food quality and over priced. Won’t go back again.
Took my wife on her birthday to El Salpicon, ordered food “pupusas” and were all extremely burned, the cook tried to hide the burn & turned upside down but still found the nasty burned part on all the guests invited
This has been one of the worst salvadorean food I’ve had… 1st of the pupusas weren’t great, you can see the chicharrón shredded the cheese wasn’t that cheesy the mesera got me the wrong order and brought a plastic cup with crean (for my tamales)that looked like it been seating there for a long time. Never coming back here again and is not cheap..
Everything that is utilized feels like picnicking cutlery. The food didn't taste authentic salvadorian..missing the right flavor even on beans. Xpensive and not enough people for service.
We love coming to this restaurant the food is delicious and the portions are reasonable for the price. The pupusas are so good here they have regular masa and rice masa (de arroz y de harina) the salsa is delicious they have two kinds one is a little more spicy both very tasty and the curtido is always fresh and delicious. The pupusas are not oily at all unlike other places where they are drenched in oil. Their aguas frescas are so refreshing and freshly made daily none of that fountain machine drinks here they have Maracuya, horchata, Nance, Ensalada, Tamarindo . Their Platos típicos are good portioned and we love the desayuno plate and the pan con pollo. They sell fresh pastries we always buy semita de piña to have with coffee or atole de elote which they sell here too and I really like it. Highly recommend this restaurant for your next date night or family outing!
The food not good at all. The service also not good. The ladys are always on their phone. And they never check up on you if u need

Best popusas I've had in the area hands down. We go here pretty regularly. I like the mushroom with cheese and spinach with cheese popusas. The pork and bean ones are good too, of course.
I have been coming to this restaurant for about 3 years already and everything has been good and I always spend more than $100.00 because that was one of my Sunday family lunch go to restaurants but today 10/2/22 I had a bad experience with my order I ordered some huevos Rancheros and after finishing one of the eggs I started eating my second egg and so many egg shells came out I addressed the waitress and they said if I wanted something different I said no but I would like for them to remove it from my bill because I was not satisfied with the meal and they refunded to do it and the reason was because I had ate one egg already.
No refills on any drinks other than water. No chicken tamales. Food took a while to come out. Service was okay. Food was okay.

I love this place. I got pupusas with queso and frijoles. The curtido was delicious without being spicy. I also got an horchata with platanos. The platanos were a little oily, but the rest of the food and drink were just like how my family made them.
Liked the food, " Pan con Pollo", fried plantains and ensalda.Great customer service, especially the server, young guy, didn't get his name, but he was nice, polite. Finally someone who is happy doing his job.
Love Salvadorian good this place el silicon have the best pupusas in Ontario California
Pupusas were not that good a bit on the Dry side. We ordered on the phone and the lady said "30" minutes, it took almost an hour. Not worth the wait, we won't be back. A good Pupusa should be moist and a little greasy, not dry and hard. Sorry but I have to be honest. The lady's were all Nice though.
The food is delicious. Pupusas have a great flavor . Service can be a little slow , maybe because they cook stuff from scratch
