Cool spot located in a relaxed group of food spots and beer garden style vibe. But it's EXPENSIVE. The food is great but I can't afford $30 lunch. A lunch that I order at a counter then my name is called and I go up to and get myself. I'm not pretending to be from HI but plate lunch style food was working people's food. Not CEO's food. I will go back when I win the lottery.

The food at Shootz was okay—not bad, but nothing to write home about. My main issue was the portion size. It was about half the size of what you'd expect from a real Hawaiian plate lunch, and the price was double what you'd pay at a place like L&L, which gives you much more food for your money. If you're looking for authentic Hawaiian portions or value, this might not be the spot. Decent flavor, but the overall experience...
