Great ice cream place but the server, Clarence (short Asian guy) was a real a-hole to all customers. He kept yelling at us and giving us attitude. Cashier was nice but Clarence was just terrible.

Pretty bummed at the experience I just had on 3/27/24. I usually love coming here for taiyaki. I walked up 20 minutes before closing, and ordered the 5 piece Nutella taiyaki. The girl working there flipped off the power switch to the fish shaped irons right in front of me and said, "We aren't serving those anymore tonight." I was just shocked that she would actually turn them off right in front of me and then say she can't make them - after I told her my order. Not to mention, with 20 minutes left if business until closing. That's literally what they sell. I drove 45 minutes from Riverside to get these. Super disappointing.

If you go to Ontario Mils Mall you have to stop there they have matcha ice cream there. Is so smooth and creamy that you want to have another one. I highly recommend and it's worth the money. ????

DELECTABLE LITTLE TREATS and SOFT SERVE! This Korean-Japanese chain of top-notch Asian confections has been a real game changer for me and has opened my eyes to wonderful new dessert options for the last couple years. SomiSomi is known for its unique Taiyaki, little toasty waffles shaped like fish with fillings of your choice ranging from Nutella, Cheese, Custard, Oreo and more! Not to mention, you can also add a cup of soft-serve that you can enjoy with your Taiyaki. I recommend the Ube soft-serve, it’s a perfect Asian-fusion dessert! The ambiance is decent, a few odd-ball customers, and it can be really busy and loud here! Additionally, the staff is quite awkward and not very friendly. However, trust me when I say it’s worth the visit! Hands down one of my favorite desserts of all time!

For some reason, the milk ice cream tastes different. There wasn't a slight sweetness in it. It was more of a bland taste. Overall, I still like Somi Somi. It was just this one time it tastes different.

parking: located in ontario mills, so plenty and plenty of free parking!food: somi somi is my go-to ice cream spot! they have classic asian flavors such as matcha and ube! they also sell just taiyaki (fish shaped waffles) & egg waffles service: fast & friendly! they have a self-ordering kiosk or you can order with the cashier as well. after ordering and paying, they serve you your ice order :) ambiance: a small store in ontario mills, but has really cute wall decor! no seats though, but they have thin table where you can stand and enjoy your ice creamoverall: 5/5 i love somi somi! a perfect place to make a stop while shopping at ontario mills
Been here a couple times now and service is always a hit and miss, but the taiyaki and soft serve are always a hit. Definitely better service at other locations. Didn't know the only option was to order was using the tablet so I waited for a while cause no one said anything. I guess my bad for not reading the paper on the cashier.

There was a bit of a line, but it went by quickly. They have options to order on a tablet or with a cashier. Prices are quite reasonable! We ordered two taiyaki, Oreo and custard filled, and a cookies n cream soft serve in a cup. Very yummy! The custard was AMAZING and the soft serve was so good.

I couldn’t decide which flavor to choose . So I ended up getting four of them since they don’t give samples which is unfortunate.. the matcha had a nice matcha flavor if you’re into that flavor .. the ube was subtle .. the coffee had a nice strong flavor .. the milk tea one was also subtle I don’t think it was anything special but the cones were fun .. we did end up trying another filled cone. One with custard and another with taro … they weren’t bad . It was worth a try and it seemed popular but I don’t think I would go out of my way to come here again !

This stuff here is sensational. Seen it on Tik Tok and boy did it live up to the hype. The Waffle Taiyaki with nutella in it is EVERYTHING! They even have a few toppings for the ice cream. It's simple, It's sweet, It's aesthetically pleasing, and it's genuinely delightful. One of my new favorites!

When we think about celebrations, SOMISOMI is always our first option and it never disappoints. The dessert is always good quality and the taste of everything is outstanding. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10.
