Wabi Sabi Teppanyaki Steakhouse & Sushi Bar Restaurant

It was a terrible dining experience. The waiter didn't take the customer seriously at all. He took the order as if he owed them money and his face was colder than iron. I waited for half an hour before the food came, and what came was not what I ordered.

The sushi was not fresh, the teppanyaki tasted dry and woody, the seasoning was very poor, and even the sauce seemed to be diluted with water. What's more exaggerated is that the bill actually charged extra items, and he hesitated and refused to admit it after questioning!

The only thing that satisfied me about this restaurant is that I will never come again.

We always have a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service is truly excellent, friendly, attentive, and thoughtful from start to finish. What stood out the most was how kind they were with our baby, Mila. Highly recommended for families!

Father's day lunch and got a surprise Saki for free by establishment. We did not see that coming but a great gesture. The sushi tasted fresh and well flavored. Must try if you are in the area.

This was THEEEEEE WORSTfood I have ever eaten. I am used to the EXCELLENT TASTE AND QUALITY of food from the Wabi Sabi in Rancho Cucamonga. Foolishly, I assumed the locations were all affiliated, so expected the food from the Ontario location to be of the same taste and quality. ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON! The scallops and shrimp were soooooo overcooked and tough, I literally could not chew them! The fried rice was so boring and had almost no chicken. The egg rolls were a soggy mess inside (for filling) and the crab rangoons were nothing but dry crab meat-no cream cheese-inside!!! Never, ever again! Don’t make the same mistake I did and aaaume all Wabi Sabi’s are the same. This one should be closed down!

Ordered food via Uber Eats…order arrived with no chopsticks or soy sauce. Never have had an order of sushi delivered without these basic items. Very disappointed as I am on business travel and don’t carry chopsticks and soy sauce with me.

My daughter is selective with food and she loved the miso soup, fried rice, New York steak, scallops and shrimp. I am so glad we came to have dinner here. The young ladies are very nice and attentive.

They have restrooms available.

Vegetarian options: They can order steam rice and veggies. They also have salad.

Kid-friendliness: Servers are very nice and suggest kid friendly ideas or portions.

Four generations of my family had a wonderful lunch here today. The calamari was especially delicious. Special shout out to our chef, Aaron, who was a wonderful conversationalist and an inspiration for his generation.

their yakisoba seat need to be reserved. If you want to try their flame skill reserve table is needed. They got the nice show.

BEWARE!When Dining at Wabi Sabi Ontario off of Grove if you have 5 guest they add in gratuity to the check and your sever doesn’t disclose this information. I was handed the bill with the top receipt stating merchant copy with the “subtotal” amount then ADD TIP. I added my 20% tip from the suggested amount marked on the bill and also tipped the chef on top of that. I noticed the next morning which was less than 24 hrs and still showing pending activity on my card. The detail receipt had a different subtotal, added gratuity and tax. On the merchant receipt they listed the total amount as the “subtotal” on the merchant receipt. I called them right away and the Manager wasn’t there. I left a message and explained the situation. I called later that day because I had not heard back. I spoke to the same young lady I spoke to earlier and she called the Manager Anthony again. Instead of Anthony reaching out to me directly they relayed the message to the young lady to tell me they can’t help me and dispute it. They took a 47% tip equaling $140 dollars and they think that is okay! I am about supporting local businesses, but this business just lost a loyal customer! Very disappointing.
