Yum was all I could say because I was too busy digging into the pastries. The circle chocolate pastry is good and the hot dog stuffed inside a croissant is flavorful. I definitely recommend coming here for a good desert. The vibe is kind of like a cafe with pastries you can pick out to pay.

Always yummy pastries here that I cannot decide on, so of course I end up with a huge box. The milk filled ones are my favorite pastries. I tried their sea salt coffee with less sweet and it was alright. I would probably try it full sweet next time just for a treat. The cream that they put on there is really creamy. It feels like I put lip gloss on my lips after I take a sip...but really, it's just cow cream? Is that kinda nasty?

85 Degrees offers a wide variety of both sweet and savory pastries. This place is VERY popular, so depending on the time you arrive you may find insanely long lines. Tip: I've had the most luck avoiding the lines by arriving mid-morning on weekdays, but your results may vary What you do is walk in, take a try, and select what you want. When you get to the register, give them the tray and they'll total up the cost. Everything I've tried here is delicious - I expect that you'll feel the same way once you try it!

Showed up at 7:30 AM. Just workers inside, and thought this was weird so I checked online for the hours and looked on the window, both of which say they open on Mondays at 7am. So I try to go inside, and the workers look at me like I'm crazy, and the doors are locked. I get back to my car and right as I'm leaving, they unlock the doors. After the way they looked at me I didn't even want to bother them as it seemed I had. I come here pretty often and I love the food, but this was a horrible experience for me and I don't want to go back.

We eat with our eyes first, we'll at least I do. So, if you see someone staring at each of the breads it's because I can't choose lol. I am totally obsessed with the Marble Taro Bread. And since I was sharing with a friend I added a savory bread. It was the perfect breakfast treat! Added bonus that everything is individually wrapped. Makes for good presents and saving leftovers if there are any.
Matcha Red Bean (3/5) - Not enough filling or red bean. Couldn't taste it over the matcha roll. Have had this baked good before so was disappointed in the quality of it this time. Ube Bread (4/5) - The filling-to-bread ratio wasn't enough, but the flavor of the ube was good. Hokkaido Custard Bun (5/5) - Favorite purchase and baked good in the store. A good amount of filling and isn't too sweet for my taste. One note I would say about this specific store was that there was a promotional sign for their gift boxes but when asked if they had it, the worker explained that they only provided them during holidays. Just curious as to why they would still keep it up.

Cake buyers beware. Please make sure you check you cake before you take it home even if your in a rush. I unfortunately made that mistake. But want people to be aware of this location. I've bought cakes at other locations and never had this issue. I was offered a refund but only if I go in person. I unfortunately live out of the way. I would go but honestly the damage is done. The birthday was ruined slightly for the birthday girl. She was looking forward to eating the Opera cake and instead got an ube cake that she wasn't able to eat due to her allergies.
