The food here is really tasty and comes in big portions. The service was a little lacking though. I think it's due COVID, there was one server and one bartender in half-filled dining room. Although it wasn't bad, just a little slow. Make sure you have time to spare and don't try to rush a meal here during your lunch hour break.

Very rude employees. They act as if they are clueless.

Came here on my birthday a few days ago for the first time. If you like the pizza and wings you see in the pictures you’ll be glad to know that’s exactly what I saw once our order arrived. Best pizza and wings I’ve ever had in my life. The taste of the food, friendly staff, neat and clean environment made for a very memorable birthday experience overall Big thank you to the owner who is super friendly, genuinely and the staff as well. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Very cool hangout for great food, drinks and fun. I will definitely be back soon.

Well, I walked in and ordered 20 buffalo wings, 20 plain wings, 10 spicy Asian wings ( Kung Pao maybe) waited a half hour at the bar. They came out and gave me my order and repeated what the order was. I gave a 20% tip and when I got home had forty plain wings and 10 spicy. So they messed up a simple order that cost me over 70 bucks. The bartender was no help, she could of mention that I could get 50 buffalo wings for 50 bucks. I won't be going back anytime soon.

I am originally from Buffalo NY. So thrilled to find the REAL wings roast beef sandwich and honest pizza. Your outstanding quality of products and true authentic menu is a boon to Orange County California. Please keep using the finest quality of ingredients and recipes. Yeah kudos love your style!!!

I placed an order online. It prompted me my order would take 50 Mintues for a pick up. It was a salad wings and a burger. When arrived 45 minutes later. We were told it would be another 20 minutes approximately. So we waited over an hr for three items one being a salad with some goat cheese and fruit. After waiting to have someone take care of us as well as our food we get home to find out the order was not correct. The salad had about three slices not three sliced strawberries. The wings were ordered as lemon peeper. They came plain. I got a burger with no tomato which they gave me extra. Ordered no lettuce which they gave me wilted lettuce. I ordered bacon on top and paid extra however did not receive bacon. I ordered Mac and cheese as a side and got plain angel hair noodles. I then tried to call three times to speak with a manager and was unsuccessful. This place is in a state of disarray. Photo is butter all over our containers.

Mediocre at best. Wings were cooked well but that was the end of it. Not enough sauce on the wings, the garlic bread was on the brink of burnt, and the Anchor dip was just okay. If this is really the original Buffalo wing, literally every other wing place I've been to does it better...

Very friendly staff. Mike, owner of restaurant, personally greets me and my wife every time we go there now. This is a great place to eat and watch sports.

Our server was nice & accommodating. Our food was delicious, Chef/owner was friendly & kind. Four *s.

Slow day this fourth of July, even slower service. If you're looking for a plce that specializes in frozen food then this is the place for you!Seriously though you're better off shopping the frozen aisle at your local grocery store and cooking it yourself at home- don't waste your time here.The service was okay, they were friendly but slow and forgetful. They spent too much time chit chatting in the corner than checking in on the 2 tables they had.

I was asked why only four stars. I'm not basing your location against other wing restaurants in the area. I'm comparing this location to the original Anchor Bar in Buffalo N.Y.Just the abeyance of the original location deserves a higher grade!!I have dined at your location over a dozen times, since your West Coast opening. I consider your wings and pizza the best in Orange County.... Hands down.

Delicious, Fast and friendly.... the Anchor Bar is the spot for good sit down and or you can call in for a To Go order. Bring a few people so you all can order different things, we also had the kids Mac & cheese and chicken strips also great. There's no pic because the kids attacked the food lol

I'm from Buffalo NY so we know wings and I like supporting the restaurant but the wings were not good. Asked for extra extra crispy as all good wings should be and they were anything but. Couldn't even eat 10. So disappointed. If your a wing place and you can't make them to order it's a big problem. Hoping it was a new cook or something. Other than that great location and the pizza was very good.

I have been waiting since early 2020 for this restaurant to open, and then COVID hit. But I can tell you that it was well worth the wait.The Beef on Weck was amazing and authentic. Exactly like his you get it in Buffalo. The wings were also amazing. And all the staff is incredibly friendly. We will absolutely be back again. Thanks Mike for bringing the Anchor Bar to the West Coast.
