Avila's El Ranchito - Orange

This location is absolutely stunning, set in an old church with high ceilings that add to its charm. I've been to several Avila’s El Ranchito locations, and the food is consistently fantastic every time.

I enjoyed a refreshing summer margarita that went down much too easy! I had the combination platter of 1 crispy chicken taco and 1 chicken tamale served with rice and beans. Delicious and huge! The only minor drawback was that our server, while super sweet, checked on us a bit too frequently. It felt like we were being rushed, even though I know she didn't mean to. A little more awareness of the pace would have made the experience perfect. Still the staff was all super friendly and willing to help with anything!

Overall, this place is definitely worth a stop! The beautiful building, amazing food, and helpful team create a wonderful dining experience on a beautiful summer night!

Seated right away. Ambiance was great and no loud music to have to talk over. Chips and salsa to start were delicious. Waitress was gracious.
Very accommodating of gluten allergy. Had a whole separate menu.

Food is sooooo good. It was highly recommended to us and now I know why. Chips were hot, light and crisp - perfect. Guacamole is amazing and nice selection. Have a light menu as well. Beautiful setting as this particular location is inside of a former stained glass church.

Defly turned into a creatively designed super open space with vaulted ceiling interior that is full of light from so many of those detailed & vibrantly blue honed windows & stained glass...like a prism:))
Less than 1 block from The City of Orange 🍊 Historical 📃 District ⛲ Plaza ⏺️ Square w/ the🟠 Circle.

Locals go2 for swift, authentic, comfort food and more. Small bar in back is very quaint & nice spot 2 watch sports. Patio has all the bells & whistles. Totally digg just eating chips guacamole 🥑 & sipping on beverage just people watching:))
Always fresh & quality foods & beverages.
Great value and huge 🍽️ plates cuz large portions 👍
Cadillac Margaritas r well known by locals.
Bar upstairs has that has own section in back & has diverse collection of beer & cocktails also leads to a covered or open table patios for eating or lounging. Wonderful value!

Tacos and Caldo "hit the spot". I was hungry, but needed just a bite of something. This soup and 2 tacos was just right. Great soup! The only problem was trying to hear my friends across the table. It's loud in there.
