Just ate breakfast at Cafe Zocalo. Ordered the California Omelette. What a delight! Great food! Great service! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing pastries / coffee… Even more amazing staff. They close at 3 pm and were patient while my cousin and I chatted away until 3:30 p and realized they were being patient and did not rush us … That was so sweet of them! Will be back !
Got a cranberry scone and a blueberry muffin. Scone was great. Muffin had good flavor definitely lacked blueberries....
I so appreciate the kindness and attentiveness all the ladies here gave me and my husband including our waiter Mariana! She is amazing & the food was yummy, I especially enjoyed my fresh squeeze orange juice, whatever oranges you use, they’re awesome! Thank you for such a good time.
Nice place to have breakfast
The service and food here are at a 100
But the most important is that the staff her take the time to explain and listen to you they are the nicest people, best customer service I've ever experienced 😊
Was here not too long ago. The food was amazing! Our waiter, Adan (Adam?), was great. He was very charismatic and made our experience here great. Will definitely come again!!

My sister bought a cookie to use the restroom and there was human feces all over the floor and hallway. The staff/management were not aware.
My sister accidentally stepped in it and the staff did not care, apologize, offer to refund the cookie, or give a bag to toss the shoes. They told us "Oh there's a trash can outside." We had to cut our day short and drive to the nearest Vans to buy new shoes.
I'm displeased at the poor customer service.

I tried this place for the first time today, and it did not disappoint. We walked in, and there was nobody there. Usually, that's not a good sign, but it seems we just beat the rush because within minutes, people started walking in. I ordered the chilaquiles with papas because I heard they were good. When they came out, I could immediately smell the red sauce. The chilaquiles were crispy and spicy, and were perfect with my over easy eggs. The red sauce is spicy and delicious. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. My wife ordered a more traditional breakfast, just eggs and bacon, but said it was good. As always, I judge mexican restaurants by their chips and salsa. They have the right chips, thick crunchy home made style. I ordered a side of beans to go with the chips. Unfortunately, we had just had coffee, so we didn't get to try coffee or michelada, but I saw they had the beer on tap. We'll definitely be back ready to try the coffee. I also previously tried their pastries, the concha and chocolate croissants are a must. The environment was nice, very casual. It looks like a good place to have a business meeting over lunch. I highly recommend this place. The prices are very reasonable.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share the amazing experience my sister and I had here during the Vintage Crawl. My sister picked out this new to us place and let me tell you. I felt as if I was at my mom's kitchen table again. She has been gone for a long time now and with the holidays around the corner we miss our parents even more. All the food looked so delicious. We had the breakfast burrito with potatoes and salsa. I had messed up the order when I placed it and the owners were more than pleased to make sure the dish was perfect and had it remade. Thank you. I tried the salsa and OMG! I was like who stole my mom's recipe? It really moved me to taste such great salsa that brought back lovely memories to me and my taste buds. My mom would say you can taste the love in good food and it was there, L-O-V-E! So! You know if the salsa is great, the food, the pastries and drinks are going to be a hit. I loved the decor and it felt cozy and welcoming. That is rare to feel at home at a table in a restaurant. I encourage everyone to try something there. I don't live in Orange but I will take the time to go there to enjoy a great breakfast burrito and the salsa with potatoes. Mmmmm! Chef's kiss! Thank you. Wonderful owners and great staff.
Dietary restrictions: It was easy to ask for no cheese to be added.

Went to Café Zócalo over the weekend and loved it. The décor was awesome, with a cool ofrenda proudly celebrating Mexican culture. The food was excellent—my wife had the chilaquiles, and they were fantastic. They also have a bakery section with lots of traditional Mexican baked goods. I grabbed a few to take home.. They didn't make it to the next day!
