Service was pretty bad. They didn’t check in on us once. Mayan coffee was the best thing. Club sandwich was good. The burrito was bland. It was ok. Nothing special girls in the front not welcoming at all.

Decent restaurant with average tasting food. Nothing much different than a standard Mexican restaurant, just a little added fluff to make it seem more unique. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the food was served quickly. Pricing is above average for what it was as you could go to a local mom and pop and get just as good or better tasting food. Would I return? No. But it is a convenient and decent spot on this street.

I’m not sure how this place was voted best breakfast. Had a party of 7 and everyone was disappointed in their food. Not only was the food lacking flavor it was all cold.
The food was likely cold because the server seemed like he couldn’t care less about serving the table. It took almost 15 minutes to get the drinks (water and two coffees) two of the people in our party had their food come out as others were finishing their meals.
It would be understandable to take time if the place was packed with people however, it wasn’t.
We definitely won’t be visiting Zocalo again.

Such a cute Mexican cafe. We loved our birria melt and the potato salad was delicious! I will definitely be coming back and plan to try their pastries as well.

Loved our lunch here at this wonderful Mexican Café in the old town. We ordered the birria sandwich which was excellent, we also and had a great time talking to the owner. Clearly this café is a labor of love and you can tell from the food quality!

We were pleasantly surprised with this cozy cafe. My mom and I were heading home after her check up and we got hungry. We were in Old Town so I looked up for something in the $10s-20s range and for healthy, fresh food. We got a spinach panini, a cappuccino, a single mimosa and tortilla chips with salsa. The chips were hand made and the salsa was delicious, very lemony and tangy. The panini came was fresh and filling. The cafe is very colorful and the service was very personable, we sat inside but it’s right on Glassell with public parking in the back, they’ve got tables on the curb, great for people watching and enjoy your meal.

The place is very good looking. Looks so clean. The staff was nice and accommodating. The food was like home made authentic food. Will definitely bring my family here. Came with grandma and she liked it too.

Took my mother-in-law and it was our first time here! And it definitely did not disappoint! Everyone was super nice the restaurant is beautiful and the food and drinks were amazing! We will definitely be back and try their famous red chilaquiles! They only had the green at that time but they were delicious! And the Chorizo burrito was fire!

I had the best experience with Cafe Zocalo! I contacted them as I needed to organize lunch for a company event. Juan was very helpful and walked me thru options and we were able to come up with an incredible menu. On the day of the event Mariana went above and beyond! The food was fresh and delicious that not a single sandwich was left! Ordering for a big group is hard and let me just say everyone loved the food! Her presentation was beautiful and I will absolutely be ordering from them in the future! Thank you both for your dedication and hard-work!
