Great Chinese food, close to Irvine Regional Park!
Honey Walnut Shrimp serving size was a bit small, and it didn't come with veggies (e.g. cabbage).

This place is amazing! Words can't describe alone the service you get overall. From the extremely friendly staff to the great quality food that you get. Another great thing about this area is you usually will never have to fight for parking! From the moment my family and I entered, we were greeted right away and immediately sat down. Our orders were taken and the food came out within minutes. They also ensured to check on our table from time to time, but at around 5:30-6PM, they began to get busier and the restaurant started to get packed (even their to-go were busy.) But they never stopped checking on the tables that were already eating as they seated new guests. Now to the food. We ordered Aromatic Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Basil Chicken, Crispy Wontons, sides of rice and Pot Stickers. Everything was very flavorful and the rice/chicken was almost perfectly made/moist. The Honey Walnut Shrimp here is probably the best I have ever had from anywhere (and their best seller). I highly recommend trying at least this if you come. Crispy Wonton and Pot stickers will speak for themselves because they were definitely crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. The Aromatic Chicken and Basil Chicken were perfectly seasoned. As a result, I was not dissatisfied one bit, and would absolutely recommend you try this restaurant at least once. I'm sure you'll want to come back for more!

Aromatic Chicken is a must! Good service, great food. I heard a guy greet everybody by their first name as they walked through the door, kinda impressed. Try the Honey Walnut Shrimp if you're not allergic, its the best we've ever had.

This Chinese restaurant is really great! Not only is the food delicious, but every dish is full of authentic delicacies, fragrant and delicious. Plus, they have just the right amount of spiciness to keep you craving for more. The service attitude was also very good, and the waiters were friendly and enthusiastic, which made my dining experience even more perfect. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant is also very comfortable, allowing me to relax and enjoy the food. Overall, this Chinese restaurant is one of my favorites and one I will visit often! Highly recommended to friends who love Chinese food, you will definitely not be disappointed!

Love this little restaurant! It is very small which is part of its charm. Family owned, and the family members are gracious, warm and attentive. The father is the chef with a twinkle in his eyes and rather shy. Food is excellent. Not greasy, very fresh, very tasty, Served hot. The won ton soup is delicious. The lettuce wrapped chicken yummy. So far everthing we have ordered there is very tasty. Good variety and they will accommodate special requests. Very service and customer focused. The son greets people as they enter and rotates around to each table chatting with his guests. Many regulars. The place is spotless and one of the sisters works diligently clearing tables, wiping down tables and serving food. The mother has a wonderful warm smile when she comes out to thank you for coming. Going to this little gem is like the old days where personalized customer service had meaning, and fresh consistently good food was the norm. As you leave, members of the family gratefully say goodbye and thank you for coming. And as the doors close behind you, there is a smile on your face and a sense of happiness, warmth and contentment. Very rare and special experience.

Me and my man were extremely disappointed and let down as we were expecting authentic chinese food here from the atmosphere but ended up with honestly one of the worst chinese foods we've ever had, it was bland and tasted like one of those premade frozen chicken stir fry stuff you would get from walmart but the staff were beyond friendly so we asked for a refund... but yea I would not call this chinese food even panda express is 10 times better

We have always come to Chens Panda for take out. It’s great food. Something spectacular happened over the last two visits that throttled the freshness and flavor into the stratosphere! AMAZING! We absolutely love your food!

Chen's was recommended by a patient. Tried it that night with my niece and we were not disappointed. The service was great, the owners took care of us and we're very friendly. The food was fantastic and had enough for a couple meals of leftovers!! Already made reservations for X-Mas dinner for the family here!! Looking forward to it! This is a small, quaint little place!!
Parking: In the Albertsons shopping center! Plenty of parking.

We've eaten carryout from Chen's Panda a number of time over the years. Last night we ordered 6 dishes from Chen's and the food for the most part was flavorless. Mongolian beef, HS fried rice, and mu shu pork tollerable. Hot and sour soup had no flavor to it - it was neither hot or sour. Mo Go Giapan pan absolutely no flavor to it. Cashew chicken - contained no cashews (it was chicken and water chestnuts). Ususally I buy enough to have leftovers in the morning - in this case a lot of the food went directly into the garbage. The quality of food has really declined in the past couple of years (not sure if they changed cooks/are under new ownership). Very disappointing meal from Chens, bad enough that we will no longer eat there again. Before placing this order, we remembered how bad the food was in our previous order there, and decided to give them another chance - which turned out to be a mistake.
