Best sandwiches in the OC. I come here once a week and it is always absolutely delicious! Top quality meats and fresh bread. I love the Italian, Rocky Balboa and the roast chicken. Pastrami and French Dip are to die for as well! Can't say enough.

Cortina Special is my choice. Very good. 6 inch sandwich is good forv1 person and a 20 inch sandwich can feed 2 if you get chips and a drink. Place is packed during normal lunch hours. If you go the first 30-45 minutes after opening not bad little wait. Tables inside and outside regardless of time the staff is quick and keeps orders moving. The staff is nice and polite when they are not really busy even then very pleasant. Been going to Cortinas for years. Can't really say much else on food only the Cortina special sandwich, oh I did try the fettuccine Alfredo. Very good

The sandwiches are fresh, delicious, and divine with high quality Italian bread. Service is very efficient. Even if you have to wait when it is crowded, everyone is working hard to serve you. Highly recommend!

Unfortunate experience at Cortina’s: I was excited to try this place because it was well reviewed but after waiting 30 minutes for a 6” sandwich, I had to cancel my order to get back to the office for a meeting. When I went to the counter to cancel they said “oh, here is your order” which I could immediately tell was prepared wrong. I got my refund and left without having lunch today :(
Wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you’ve set aside over an hour for lunch.
