Food and service were good, and the waitress was polite throughout the meal. At the end of dinner, after we had already finished and paid, she said, “Next time you can’t bring an animal here.” I replied that she is a service animal, and she then said, “Okay, so you have all her paperwork.”
The service animal remained in a carrier the entire time, was not disruptive, and was not in the way at all. She is a service animal required for seizure assistance that occurs at night.
Service animals are not required to have paperwork under the Americans with Disabilities Act. What made this especially uncomfortable was that this was raised only at the very end of the meal, after no issues or disruptions had occurred.
I’m assuming this may have been prompted by management due to the timing. Management should ensure staff are properly trained on ADA guidelines so situations like this don’t negatively impact guests’ experiences in the future.

Delicious dinner at this neighborhood gem. Lovely and attentive staff and owner. Enjoyed nightly specials tonite - arancini appetizers, beautiful cod special - baccala and tasty pork chop special. Excited to enjoy lemoncelllo after dinner now that they have a full liquor license. Looking forward to cocktails in the future!

The food was great and also the service. The atmosphere is missing as it used to have white tablecloths and lower lights.Now there is bright lights, more of a cafeteria feeling. No ambience and no candles like they used to have. For the atmosphere, the price isn't worth it. Very LOUD!

We absolutely loved this visit to Da Bianca. There was a lot of specialness to it. My friend, Betty and I had just returned from Italy and we had planned this dinner with our husbands so we could share our stories with them. Everything about the evening was magical and Da Bianca even had a wine from the region, DOCG, and infact, from one of the small towns we had visited, Montepulciano. We had a great evening at Da Bianca Trattoria!
