Daoni Sushi is hands down one of the best sushi spots in Orange, CA! We frequent this restaurant often and the friendly staff/owners always make us feel right at home. The place doesn't look fancy, but the fish is always fresh with delicious options at reasonable prices. Our favorites include the spicy hotate and the Salmon Lover roll (buttery and flavorful).

If you're craving high-quality sushi without the hype or high costs, Daoni is a must-try.

I had an amazing dining experience at DAONI SUSHI & SAKE BAR in Orange, CA! I ordered the katsu, a 20-piece sashimi platter, the popcorn scallop roll, and a classic udon, and every dish was a hit. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, with each piece showcasing the high-quality fish that DAONI is known for. The popcorn scallop roll was a delightful surprise, bursting with unique flavors and beautifully presented, true to the restaurant’s reputation for artistic dishes. The katsu was perfectly crispy, and the udon was comforting and flavorful, making for a well-rounded meal.
The location, nestled in a lively shopping complex near Target, is super convenient, especially for a post-shopping meal. The service was top-notch—our server was attentive, friendly, and offered great recommendations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I also took advantage of their BOGO 50% off deal on rolls and beer, which made the already reasonable prices even more appealing. DAONI truly delivers a fantastic experience for both sushi lovers and casual diners. I can’t wait to come back!

This is my family's favorite sushi restaurant. The place is small and doesn't look fancy, but the fish is always fresh and offers many unique & delicious options. Some of our favorites are Kurodai, Amaebi, Black Dragon Rolls, and Honolulu Rolls. I also recommend the Tempura Udon and Chirashi Bowl.

No sushi bar but great deals - buy 1 get half off second (rolls and beer). Oysters were good. Small and quaint. Salmon and tuna was fresh and tasty. Rolls well done.. Wasabi seemed mild.

I was looking for delicious rolls and inexpensive appetizers. The appetizers range from 6.99, 7.99 to 10.99. I got miso soup. Delicious! Rainbow Roll scrumbous! Lemony Salmon Lover which had the most delicate melt in your mouth salmon. And Agedashi Tofu...I think Ill try the squid legs next time.
Overall it was a pleasant way to spend my Saturday afternoon!

Fantastic. Great flavors, unique rolls and very fresh ingredients. I’ve been to a lot of sushi restaurants and this is one of the best. The hamachi toro was to die for. The Oh Garlic roll and Las Vegas roll are must-tries. The service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back.
