Closed on Monday at 2:30pm? Super bummed. Their menu says they're open til 5pm. Was looking forward to some BBQ. On to my favorite Mexican restaurant next door.
I really wanted to like this place, because I LOVED Fred's BBQ before it was sold to Dogs.... so the only good thing I can say is the meat was moist... that's it. No smoke ring, No flavor, No rub taste, No smoke... NONE. I had the Tri-Tip sandwich and while I waited I was able to try a taste of the Brisket and the Pulled Pork... extremely disappointed. BBQ should taste like BBQ without having to put sauce on it. I couldn't even make it through a whole sandwich and ended throwing half away.....

I would love to give this place a proper review but when I walked in last night at 6pm I was informed that they were closed. I said "you're kidding right?" The lady asked what I wanted & I said I would like bbq & she responded "it's all put up". It was actually dinner time & they were closed. Literally the worst time of day to close a restaurant!

Probably the worst pastrami I've ever had. It tastes like ham. You should probably get another brand or make your own. You also forgot to out my cheese on it. There was only 2 other people in there. You weren't busy enough to forget. My friend did like your brisket tho. Hence the extra star. Best of luck

I was craving BBQ on a Tuesday. I looked at the menu and decided to go with a full rack of pork ribs. Picked up my order and asked for sweet bbq sauce. And good thing I did! When I got home to open the container I realized they don't give you bbq sauce automatically. If I hadn't asked for the bbq sauce I would've been stuck with tough, dry ribs. I'm giving 2 stars because the ribs are nothing to write home about.

I'd love to give a glowing review if this local spot but when I arrived to pick up my order I was told they had no bbq due to a broken smoker. These things happen so I ordered and paid cash for two decent sandwiches. However, I'm still waiting for a refund on my original order through grub hub of $32 and it's been about two weeks. I don't need an upset stomach due to the hassle...

I love this place! Great service and great food. The owners are wonderful people and the mac n cheese is to die for. Definitely a go-to when I'm driving through the area.

I am so glad I took a nice walk here today... The food is sooooooo freaking delicious! Completely satisfied my pregnancy cravings! And my family is satisfied. Good big portions. Mac N Cheese is the best I've ever had. The tri tip and brisket was soooo soft and tender. Way better than Lucille's. And also Jill the owner was sooooo sweet and very welcoming I left with a smile on my face. I will definitely be going back.

Food was great me and my daughter just stumbled across this place it's right next to the liquor store its kind hard to see because there's no sign above it but the place is great guy was running it was friendly .the food was fresh highly recommend it to anybody probably one of the best barbecue spots have had an Orange County since I moved out here....hot links r fire and the brisket sandwich was super bomb......

Great sandwiches. We had both the pastrami and Tri tip. Tri tip is very flavorful. Place has no sign but it is there. Would definitely would visit again. Very simple but delicious.

If I could give this place a freaking negative review I would!!!! How the hell do I order a turkey sandwich that was ONLY turkey, bread, mayonnaise, and mustard when on post mates the picture that's shown has salad, tomato's, onions etc?! I literally looked at the sandwich and complained to postmates and got a refund back of only $4. It's so sad to waste money on a horribly made sandwich, not to mention, I didn't even end up eating it, I just threw it away because I absolutely lost my appetite. I cannot stress enough to actually sell what the picture is selling!!!!! DO NOT BUY SANDWICHES FROM THIS STORE.

Got Chili and coleslaw. Weird combo, I know. I asked for cheese in chili and they were happy to accommodate. Chili a tad salty, but pretty freaking good. Coleslaw was actually a nice contrast with chili and was really fresh and delicious. Will be back another day for rest of the menu for sure.

Had a delicious brisket sandwich here. The thick cut brisket is tender with a good amount of fat to keep it moist and flavorful. It reminded me of the type of bbq you get in Texas. Not quite as good but probably the best I've had around these parts. I slathered on their bbq sauce and was in heaven. You have the option to add veggies to the the hit bbq sandwiches which might seem blasphemous but I enjoyed mine with lettuce and tomato. Can't wait to go back to try their other offerings. Super friendly service too!
