The Ajiaco, the bread, plantain and yuka were phenomenal. However it was a disappointing taste of chicharron, we don’t eat much pork, this chicharron had a full pork stinky flavor, very different from what I had in Colombia, or even a Mexican supermarket.
Without a doubt it is the best place to eat Colombian cuisine, the empanadas are very respectable, but I affectionately ask Dona Adela, do not put ripe plantains in the beans, it is green plantains...
Wow. This place is amazing. I absolutely loved the fresh empanadas, ajiaco (potato, chicken, avocado) soup, and oxtail. Everything was so good, the oxtail was falling off the bone. You've got to try the jugos. We had lulo fruit with agua and mora with leche, which was like a delicious blackberry milkshake. Also, the service was fantastic! We loved our server.

Just be aware that Donde Adela is closed Monday, and that weekends are apparently really busy.
