The Cuban Oxtail and rice plate was amazing and a must. It was super tender, meaty, savory, and delicious. This has got to be my favorite dish, here, so far. Their berry fruity Sangria was also delicious and not too sweet.

I have been coming to Felix for 34 years. We have brought family, friends, business associates and have celebrated numerous special occasions here. I have watched it outlast nearly everything around the Orange Circle and with good reason. Some of the staff are still the original staff there, and the food is exactly how it has been served since the beginning. There is a good reason why a restaurant, it's staff and it's menu sticks around for a very long time. Now that much time has passed, my experience at Felix is like a time capsule, a reminder that the fundamentals always prevail. I order the Picadillo with Fried Eggs here and finish with their unique version of Café con Leche (Latte). I always look forward to visiting Felix again.
*** UPDATE: In the most bizarre timing ever, it was reported on the OC Register that Felix is closing the very day after I wrote this review. I'm in shock and sad. I will really miss Felix, But I suppose everything has an end, even the Great ones. I thank and salute you guys at Felix for all the happy times we spent there, and wish you all well.

So many choices. The food was fabulous. Great lunch place. Service staff were very attentive. Will definitely be back. Ropa veieja was very juicy and tender. masas de puerco fritas, were delicious too!
