This one is real authentic Italian and wine selection is top of the Orange county. Wonderful thing is that price of foods and wine is extremely affordable. I have lived in Rome for 3 years and this one reminds me of my wonderful memories in Italy.

The food was absolutely fabulous. Our server Jordan was outstanding and very attentive. The food was superb! We started out with a Polenta e Funghi appetizer and a very nice glass of Modus Ruffino red wine. We shared a verde salad which was plenty to split. I had the Ravioli Brasato and my husband had the Penne Zucchini Gambe both very tasty dishes. Our friends had the Tortelloni Limocello and Ravioli Brasato as well.

Beautiful setting. Food was ok, noodles were barely cooked, it was not al dente. We were rushed and at the end of our meal we were told that the needed our table and had us wrap up our celebration earlier than we had expected. A little bummed how our evening was so rushed and we were told they needed our table, especially since we had been wanting to go here for years and it was a big night for us.

A bit of an off night at Francoli Gourmet. First the somewhat new hostess sabotaged our seating request again with a poor explanation and second we waited a bit long for our food on a not so busy evening. Food and service from Val was excellent as always.

The food was amazing! I got the mushroom Jidori chicken and not only was the chicken perfectly cooked, but the sauce was incredible. The restaurant itself is very cozy and cute, and I loved the ambiance! I will definitely be back.

We ordered the honey, grapes, cheese appetizer. Main: pesto gnocchi, salmon capers, pollo rosmarino, carbonara w shellfish. Cocktails, wine, dessert. Food...so good. Service was perfect! We were able to dine. Thank you,

Their pasta was made fresh & traditionally cooked to perfection. Just call me Gordan Ramsey!! Their Italian Wines are amazing. They have selections that you won't see elsewhere. The ambiance was perfect. The location in the Downtown Orange Circle has a cozy and at-home feel that I will be coming back for. The owner had dinner on the patio where I was seated. We had a great conversation. Awesome owner!!

We've been coming here for quite awhile and it's always consistent in service and their food. I've travelled to 62 countries in my lifetime and have tried Italian restaurants in almost half of those countries, and I could tell you that Francoli is up there in the top ten. It's one of my favorite authentic Italian restaurants in SoCal right up there with Madeo in WeHo. Thank you!

Excellent food with a wide menu. Would highly recommend the carbonara with seafood and the filet with bourbon.

Excellent service, superb menu, and wonderful atmosphere. We went for our annual holiday friends' dinner and everyone, from vegan to omnivore, raved. Piattino di olive with a Negroni sbagliato, inslada Verde and Salmone all'arancia with a Sangenovese, and tartufo with an amaretto neat. were my choices, and all were excellent. What a treat to feel like I was in Italy without leaving the county!

My husband and I were looking for a northern Italian dining experience since he previously lived in that area . We were both very happy with our meals. The food was absolutely delicious! Be aware that if you are looking for a 6:00 pm table reservation, there are none; those are saved for walk-ins. Since 6:00 pm works better for us than any other time, we may take our chances; we will definitely be going back!

I ordered one of the special pasta dishes and it took much longer than expected. It was somewhat disapointing. I mentioned that to the manager and he offered me another dish but I was full. I asked for a box to take the rest of my meal home and they threw my food away, said it was missing an ingredient and gave me a dessert. I paid full price for my meal and wanted to take the rest with me even if it wasn't my favorite dish.

This review has nothing to reflect the waiters or the chief at Francoli. Their food and service is always the best! However their hostess has become an issue when trying to dine at this restaurant. We have eaten at Francoli for years for their wonderful service toward my family and the amazing food that leaves us full and satisfied. Their new hosts however would often judge us by our appearance and would dismiss us from eating at Francolis not once but 5xs times now. Stating they are fully booked when a table would be free for hours (not an exaggeration) or stating an exaggerated wait time. I really hope you consider changing your management when picking a hostess.
