One of the best Mexican food we had. Their fish of the day (Barramundi) was probably the best.

I loved it! Can't wait to go back. A few of the dishes rocked my world. Great service. Not cheap but the portion sizes are generous. So grateful to live nearby! Old Town Orange is a vibe.

The food and service were excellent! Best carnitas I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be back soon.

We really like the food at Gabbi's. That being said, portions have changed. Two tacos will run you $18.00 or more and they don't come with beans or rice. Chips are not provided with the meal. Restaurant was busy at lunch time and it was super noisy. Service was good, but not over the top. Prices are a bit high for what you get. Even though I love their shrimp tacos, probably will try other restaurants.

The food was so good! We had a pozole verde with seafood and a dish with barramundi in a green sauce with mini potatoes and green beans. For dessert we had chocolate churros with ice cream. The service was great! It's not a huge place with one main walkway through the restaurant from front to back so there's a fair amount of activity going on, but didn't take away from the quality of the food. I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I have gone to Gabbi's every year for our wedding anniversary. This year the hostess greeted us and wished us a Happy Anniversary and asked us how many years together, etc. Our server did the same - we have never had that even though I always list what we are celebrating when booking our reservation. It was really nice that it was acknowledged. We love the food - the birria quesadilla under the “starter” plates was enough food for me along with chips and salsa and of course, churros. You have to order the churros - they make them and they are warm and served with dipping sauces! Reminds me of my time in Spain having Porras! My husband always gets the Puebla tacos. The sauces are exquisite with each dish, and you can ask for a Habanero salsa, if you like things spicy. It's a small place and typically crowded unless earlier mid-day so expect it to be a bit noisy. I also recommend the homemade corn tortillas and sangria!

I've been to Gabby's probably 10 times and usually very pleased with the overall experience. I hesitate to give this review because perhaps they were just having a bad day and because the manager offered to fix the issues with the food and provided a desert for the table to share but nevertheless the situation was a miss on this visit. Our reservation was for 7:30 but we were not sat until 8:00. While a restaurant cannot control how long a table sits, the reality is that as a result we were the last people in the restaurant and felt the pressure to finish and leave which would not have occurred had we been sat closer to our reservation time. Second, the food came out lukewarm, at best. Based on the way the sauce was in the enchiladas it is clear the plates had been sitting in the window for a good while before being brought out. The manager came by and asked how things were and I mentioned the issue to him and he offered to replace the plate but given our time delay in being sat and the delay in the food coming out I declined because we were already eating and I didn't want to wait longer. The food may have been good at proper temperature but lukewarm enchiladas tend to just not be great. As a result of the delays the staff appeared ready for us to leave before we were done and both my wife's plate and our guests plate were picked up from the table while they were still chewing their last bite of food. Literally pulled out from under them. I worked Ian the food industry back in the day and understand the gig but at this price point you expect a bit better. Hopefully this was just a series of mistakes and not a precedent and I will try again but will not be a place I take guests to again until I'm sure these are not a chronic issues

Had a birthday dinner here - it was good but very loud and dark. They charge for chips and salsa. It was very good but not as good as I remembered.

Our server Adam , was on top of It and really personable! The hostess too when we asked for a lower ceiling fan setting right above our table - it was immediate ! Thank you a great night !

Hadn't been there in years but was in the area so went for lunch. Menu was limited. Charged $5 for mediocre chips and salsa. Service was almost non-existent. Think they had 3 servers for about 20 tables with the waitresses clearing plates, rather than runners. My shrimp enchiladas were ok, but the shrimp were a bit overcooked. The carnitas tacos were ok as well, nothing special. The pumpkin enchiladas my wife ordered were really good. Margaritas were good but overall the experience was lacking. Think that's the last time I eat at Gabbi's as it's no where near as good as other “gourmet” Mexican restaurants such as South of Nick's.

Gabbi's is always a treat! We ordered: puebla tacos, hongo tacos, esquites, and a masa al pastor appetizer whose name I cannot recall along with a couple of cocktails. Everything was amazingly tasty. I expect no less than amazing from Gabbi's and they always exceed my expectations.

Excellent location. The only reason I marked a 4/5 is because the air conditioning was on so high it was rather chilly inside.

Delicious, atmosphere is as yummy as the food and the service was impeccable I brought a cake to celebrate a friend and our server brought out at the perfect tile with candles lit and offers to cut the cake. The server was a true professional!

Weekday lunch at Gabbi's. Restaurant in a older brick building w/ charm and character. Servers were prompt and attentive. Food was delicious and full of flavor. However, portions on the smaller side.
