A couple of days ago I got off work in the morning, was hungry and was craving bbq. I searched for local areas that serve bbq and I came across this place and it was opening at 9am. I went there and asked if they were opened and the person said yes and showed me where to order.

I placed my order and waited for the food which took a while. I received my order went home excited just to be disappointed when I saw the food. I could tell I received leftovers from tasting the food and only one of the items a trip tip was cooked. The food which I received had been microwaved because when I was waiting for the food, I heard the microwave go off and the person open the microwave. There was no aroma of food been cooked, I didn't hear the sound of pots and pans on a stove while I waited.

I was very, very, very disappointed because I wasted a lot money (almost $80), I ate the tri tip which was under flavored. And was still hungry.

If food is not prepared and ready by opening time then they need to change the times rather than deceiving customers.

This place is magical! Walking in you feel so welcomed and the decor is so cute. I love that they have a little shop of items for purchase. I got a few different candies/cookies to try out. The food is out of this world. It was perfectly cooked the tri tip literally melted in my mouth. The ribs were flavorful and easy to get off the bone. I definitely would recommend this place. I would give a 10000 stars. The beautiful women that made my order was so kind and soooooo very sweet. Hospitality is top notch and I will be back to try out all the other amazing items on their menu!

Living here 32 years business Has been open 8 years and I just discovered this wonderful place. Small but comfortable, menu has a Mediterranean feel, and the plating was visually appealing. Execution of entree's were spot on, taste as good as it looks 😁 😉 you can taste the passion this chef brings to the table, you can also find a limited cuts of quality meats and European treat's at the counter. This family owned restaurant is a true treasure.

I had an amazing meal at Goodies in the Pantry! The brisket was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the sausage dish was just as delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. On top of the great food, the service was excellent—very friendly and courteous, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a delicious meal and great atmosphere!

Thank you Renata for providing us with a wonderful memory celebrating my son's birthday. Being this our first time, I didn't know what to expect. I searched out a unique eatery and found this absolute gem. The atmosphere is so quaint, unique and fun, like stepping into a small European village eatery. I chose this place for its' unique atmosphere and definitely selection of proteins (beef...) and dishes. It was everyone's first time dining at this restaurant. It is located in a shopping center, so the parking was not an issue. Parking right in front. The food was like going to grandma's for a home cooked delicious meal. She even decorated for us and a delicious cake in the end. The meat selections are fresh from their deli, prepared to order. I can't say enough about the quality and flavors meshed into a perfect meal. I have digestive issues, but I had no reaction which was in itself a miracle but more a testament to quality food and good cooking.
Be prepared with time as it takes a bit more time to prepare from fresh food. Perfectly delicious and definitely worth the wait. Thank you!!!

I was craving steak and I googled restaurants in the area. I saw all the good reviews and couldn’t wait for early dinner.

I arrived no one greeted me. It took awhile before someone to say hi to meet after I sat down. After I sat down it took awhile for someone to take my order. There was 1 other person in the restaurant at that time. It looked like it was one cook/help and one server/owner.

I’m all for small family owned restaurants and businesses. I was open to spending money due to I wanted to treat myself to a good steak dinner.

After I sat down and someone took my order I had to get my water. Took 30 mins for my drink. They forgot. Now I’ll focus on the food, service and atmosphere.

Food- I would give 1 star out of 5 stars. I steak was rare. I ordered med rare. I didn’t want to send it back because I worked in restaurant business and it’s better to deal with it. No one checked on me. I only ate 1/2 of it. They didn’t ask me how my meal was. I had to get up 4-5 times to ask for thing (was ready to order, my drink, check, my side was wrong (or misunderstood). I even had to say good bye and go to the counter.

The music was too loud and for a restaurant they should pay for no commercials. I was annoying to hear music play than every 10 mins it would go into commercials.

The food was poor (wasn’t cooked properly). The excuse was we used the temperature so it was cooked. It was raw with very little sear on it.

The service was 1 star out of 5. The amount of times I had to get up for everything. Didn’t check up on me. I had to go check it was 40 mins for my food and 30 mins I check for my water.

I still tipped 40% I understand people have an off day. I worked in restaurant business many years ago so I know it’s not easy but this was unexpectable. They did give my dessert on the house but that’s not acceptable for the service and preparation of the food.

I am not sure if I want to return. But I do I hope it will be better than I experienced.

I took a Panoramic snapshot of the place. CLICK RED WARDROBE TO EXPAND FULL PIC..While its a tiny place, its packed with lots of goodies, from traditional snacks, cookies, and delicious spreads, well loaded deli plates. Dine in is also available, with every single dish finger licking, plate scraping home food litteraly made from scratch like Babushka use to make it back home.. Hats of to Claudio and the team for pulling it off. I had the traditional Romanian Mămăliga, breakfast Polenta plate for dinner, and loved every bite: the fried/ roasted sausage, the Romanian Bacon, yum yum..with a bit of cheese crumbles, and sour cream .

Absolutely incredible! I ordered a charcuterie board from Goodies In the Pantry for a recent event, and it was a total hit. The presentation was stunning, the ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the variety was perfect. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it, they were so impressed (and full!) that many barely had room for the main course. I will definitely be ordering from them again for future events. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their gathering. Amazing work!

AMAZING food. If I could rate it 6 stars I would.

This is a really cute quiet cozy eastern european hidden gem in the OC. I opted for the Pork Stew which came with potatoes carrots and side of slaw. The restaurant gave a nice cabin/pub european vibe. The service was fast since I was the only on there for lunch. I'll def comback for more items. This is a really slept on spot to get quality meats and soups and sandwiches.
