At some point, a stale smell filled the restaurant. I realized it was the smell of unwashed rags. The stench lingered throughout my meal, ruining my breakfast. I couldn’t stand it and moved to another seat, but the unpleasant odor persisted. The food was average, and the prices were cheap.
This place has many different options! Few favorites are the chicken terriyaki plate! The chicken sandwich! And the eggs with chili! The staff is always friendly, Kevin is the owner and friendly and always smiling. Mireya is always going above and beyond for her customers!
Ate at Johnie's for years before leaving CA, but make sure I stop in at least once when I'm back in town! Prices are a bit high, but the quality of the food makes up for it..
