Been here twice and both time it was outstanding. Large portions, decent prices and lots of island authenticness. I really like the pork belly combo plate and had it with kalbi one time and teriyaki beef another. Both were excellent, but I prefer the teriyaki beef because the use bits of flank steak or something like that so it's higher quality than your average teriyaki beef and has a great steak flavor. The macaroni salad is also a little different as they put some different...
Great little plate lunch place in a strip mall in Villa Park. BBQ chicken plate was on point, furikake chicken was a tad too much soy sauce but still good. Mac salad and Cole slaw were very good.
HAD to stop here before returning to Philadelphia for their AMAZING Hawaiian BBQ! Everything here is DELICIOUS. The pork belly, the beef the chicken! The owner was even so kind as to grant us an order of their pork belly fries which were delicious! 10/10 recommended!
