We ordered a plate with koobideh and chengeh and upgrade the white rice to latte rice ($4.00 extra). The food presented was great and service not too bad, place is compact and small to have stage with live music and DJ , although there was no live music at that of day but I could imagine how loud it would be and hurt your ears if there was no matter where you are sitting. Let get to main thing, food was not good at all to any standard and did not worth the you pay for, kobideh neither tasted nor smelled like Persian traditional kobideh, chengeh had same problem and had no taste. Rice was not fluffy and not fully cooked. Small glass of watermelon just costed us $9.99, just imagin if we ordered a shut of tequila. Our first time and for sure our last time . We go back to be a regular at Darya.
