The food is really good. The hours of operation are strange. You should call ahead to make sure they're open before you go there and find out otherwise. Lately the service has been slipping. I really want this place to succeed so I'll continue to support it since I live in the area.

We are from Denver and always visit La Casita when we are in Orange. We called from the airport to see if they were still going to be open and stayed open a few extra minutes just to help us out. Delicious. Friendly. Great!

We came because it was supposed to offer a restaurant.com discount. But it doesn't so save yourself a trip. We ordered a shrimp burrito anyhow and was asked to wait 15-20 mins since busy. Then waitress came out about 10 mins later and said that they had no more shrimp. This was on a Sunday afternoon at about 1 ish pm. Hmmm.... Not only that... they have a handwritten disclaimer that prices are subject to change which I missed. And I was a little confused at first why my bill was so much higher. But it's just a laminated printout... so pride in ownership should dictate to them to change the menu since it's just a print out. Despite the reputed "hidden gem", we were glad they ran out of shrimp and had to cancel our order ... we will most likely not be coming back. Pity.

My boyfriend and we're down the street and decided to try this place out. Ended up becoming one of our new favorite places to eat. I had the potato taco plate and he had the posole bowl and a fish taco. Everything was amazing hands down 10/10 would recommend to everyone. Our sever was amazing. And everything was 100% authentic and worth the wait.

This place was an amazing experience, a hidden gem in OC. We actually got invited to go there with a couple of friend that have been there before on comedy night and we went there a few times after and ofcourse whenever we feel like authentic Mexican food this is are spot to go to. The owners there are so friendly from the moment you walk in until you leave. Everytime the experience gets better and better. The food is so tasty and has this twist of freshness to it and zestyness to that we tried a few other places in OC but this place tops them all. Btw their menchaladas are of the hook. We will be back again again that is for sure!!!

This is my second time coming to the place. I ordered a Chili Verde burrito via phone. When we got there our food was not even ready. My burrito literally tasted like nothing! No seasoning what so ever . Sauce looks like water. My cousin got the carne Asada burrito and they put white rice in it. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! Save your money. Ohhh and I forgot this burrito was $17

This place has great good but one problem, they just don't ever pick up the phone. And they close at 7pm. They NEVER pick up the phone no matter what day you call. Grubhub just canceled the order because they said the restaurant wouldn't pick up. I guess they are so busy that they don't need the business. Very pissed

Great food! It's very fresh and made to order. Small simple home cooking. Staff and management were all extremely friendly! Coming back for sure, especially for comedy night. (Please have more!!)

I have been coming here for a while for to-go food for my family. The papas tacos and beer battered fish tacos are soooo amazing! They also have beer and wine. Best tacos in OC in my opinion.

We were visiting Anaheim from the Bay and stumbled upon this place the night we drove down. Seriously SO HAPPY we found this place, and two weeks later- still thinking about the food. Our 1 year old was exhausted and not happy, but the owners made us feel right at home. The owner came over and turned on Netflix to try to help us out. The food is FREAKING BOMB. We had fish tacos, Al pastor nachos and a Chile verse burrito- all were delicious. The food takes time to come out because it's made fresh, so grab a couple beers and chill while you wait. Honestly, we would've gone back at least 1-2 more times but they were closing for the week. We'll definitely be back!
