Somehow 3 “regular” small street tacos and two “giant” de la Rosa candies were just over $15 on “Taco Tuesday” when tacos are supposed to be $1.99. I asked the cashier if the tacos were for sure $1.99 and she said yes, so that means these small candies were roughly $3 each. My fiancée liked his chicken taco. My Al pastor tacos were very bland, and had almost a sweet after taste. I had to add more seasonings and hot sauce to make it decent. Their green salsa was surprisingly good though. Won’t be going back. Pretty sure they discriminated against me for not being a native Spanish speaker and took advantage of that. I tried my best, but it wasn’t good enough for these people.

awful awful awful service. I didn't even have a chance to TRY to like this place. I don't know if they just didn't like me or what. I specifically asked if the chiliquiles were Spicy And if so, I'd like the sauce on the side. I cannot eat spicy per doctor orders. she told me, the sauce is nottttt spicy, I said okay great. she brings me the order, ONE bite in, I'm suffering. its like they made it extra spicy because I asked if it was spicy or something. it's RIDICULOUS it was like satan himself spat this out to give to me. so I tell her, this is spicy, way to spicy. I can't even eat this, I'm red and sweating, my mouth is on fire and I'm upset. she says "sorry nothing I can do for you, that's how they were made." I said "I asked you though, can i just order something else." mind you, I took ONE bite, that was all i needed to know I couldn't eat his even if I tried.she said "no you can't order something else and had to pay for this." I said excuse me, I didn't eat it, i cant eat it. She said "oh well you're going to pay for it." I said if I pay for it I'm going to have to leave a review. she said "go for it, I don't care" I was shocked.

The food was ok. The cook was friendly to me. I spoke Spanish to everyone from the moment I walked in, and was polite to the only 2 staff members. It was taco Tuesday. I ordered 2 carne asada tacos. I was over charged for each taco. They charged me 2.97 per taco before sales tax. When it should have been 1.99 before sales tax. The decore is humble, but well kept. If you come on a Tuesday expect to pay full price. The tacos taste just like any other street tacos off of Tustin Ave.

The food is amazing! You can get homemade tortillas made fresh while you wait. We love the carnitas. It's mostly a take out style spot. Perfect for grab and go!

Dude!I mean, it doesn't get much better than this. They have all different kinds of meats but my favorite are the carnitas. Now, you can have these in two ways. Just regular or sin cueritos. These are without the tender pork skin still attached to the meat. Think of it as a 50/50 of meat and skin, half way on the road to being chicharrónes.Oh, they also have great freshly made chicharrónes!!Not to mention, the hand made tortillas are he best. They have a variety of aguas frescas at all times, not always the same ones. They might not have your favorite one the day you go, but it's the perfect opportunity to try a new one. I haven't had one I didn't like. There are other drinks as well. Your selection is unlimited. The 5-door fridge has all kinds of beverages, including beer and soda.Remember that this place, prior to its transformation, was a local neighborhood butcher shop and mini-market called Rubio's Carnicería.If you haven't made it here, you must!!This is the way.

Looked promising, but never got to try the food as when I showed up 30 min before the 8 pm posted closing time for the establishment, "the restaurant is already closed".If I ever get the chance to come back and try the food, I will amend my rating.

This place is weird - you have to go to one store for your meat, then you have to go to the store next door to get everything else - which was odd; that’s not how they are usually set up. I don’t know if they are the same owner or it’s a front or what, but don’t go there. The carne asada was not good. The taste was off, the cut wasn’t good. I’d definitely choose a different place for your meat. The ‘fresh’ salsa used visibly older, brown vegetables, the ‘fresh’ guacamole was already brown as well. They didn’t carry any refried beans and a very small salsa selection. We ate the meat but ended up tossing the condiments just because everything looked old.

Don’t come here. They seem to overcharge and I’m not the only one who experienced this.

THEY SHOW NO PRICES ON THEIR MENU! AND THEN THEY HIT YOU WITH THE OVERPRICED BILL!They should at least show the cost of the food before you decide to buy! $17 for chilaquiles 2 eggs with old rice and a couple spoons of beans. I did not enjoy eating my breakfast. Ridiculous!
