Short summary: Improve food and service both.I have been an advert fan of Lazy dog for more than a decade. Our favorite is the Irvine jamboree marketplace location, a regular there. I know exactly what I order and how it tastes. We were meeting up with some friends in Anaheim so chose this location instead of driving to Irvine. Sadly, this location disappointed. The quality of edamame was very basic, not flavorful at all. It appears the recipe is different here than other locations like Irvine or the chef doesn’t know how to make it right or the kitchen was just too busy. The service was also below par. For eg. I had to go look for the server multiple times to ask for basic things. All in all, this seems to be a more touristy spot than for locals.The service and food quality both need drastic improvement specially, considering the prices (inflation / cost) patrons pay per item. This location is not worth it.

Love the out door patio and our server was very good. Enjoyed the happy hour pomegranate IPA. Plus their happy hour food is great. I recommend the fried deviled eggs, the loaded hush puppies and of course some traditional buffalo wings. Enjoy!

Enjoyed lunch outside under cover outside on the patio with our furry buddy with a heater as it was cloudy and chilly last weekend. Service and food was excellent. I especially love their chicken tortilla soup! It is highly recommended and I would love to find the recipe! Thanks much Lazy Dog team!

Stopped in for happy hour, grabbed some wings, Cajon fries, their new crispy shrimp appetizer and a cold beer. Best money I've spent in a long time, food was delicious staff friendly and I didn't have to wait to be seated. If your in the neighborhood stop by and enjoy some great food and drink.Tell them Fred sent you. ?

Came here after seeing a show at the Honda center. Went with the no expectations but pleasantly surprised at the service and amazing food. Wasn’t familiar with this place since I was just visiting the area but will definitely come back here. American fare, done really well!!! The southern fried chicken salad was so good I’ll have to try and replicate it. Considering how busy they were, food came out fast and delicious.

Lazy Dog is one of my son's and my favorite places. My favorite is the sticky ribs with Umami fries. The honey plum sauce is delicious ? ? My son got the half pound black and blue burger with Cajun fries. And, Lazy Dog has retro TV dinners, which we decided to buy 6 and try. So far, we've eaten 3 and they are yummy and so big that I can only eat half. We will definitely buy them again.
I absolutely loved this place! I went here on multiple occasions while I was in rehab with my group. Every time we had amazing service and the food was always fantastic! Thank you Lazy Dog for making my rehab experience even more memorable! ❤️
