First time eating at Lucilles, decided to get dinner here I ordered baby back ribs french fries and baked beans, it was good, server was very nice and gave excellent customer service, we didn't have to wait to pay we paid right there at the table, atmosphere was friendly, I do wanna try the dessert next time so I will be back thanks.

This location was crowded, and the table we sat at was in a very awkward location. Our waitress wasn't very attentive. Then when we received our food it was cold and over salted not fresh at all. This was a very disappointing experience.

Beans were super spicy (& not even labeled as spicy..) and then the full rack of baby back ribs were harder than i ever imagined they would be!! Couldn't even chew them.. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown- for myself.. BUT, my granddaughter liked it all- bc she likes spicy..(she did not get the ribs, though.. she got a combo plate with sausage and other stuff..) But as for myself, I don't think I'll be returning back here.. Once I realized that I couldn't even get regular corn bread- WITHOUT jalapenos inside of it..... I was pretty much, just simply Done, right about then.... :(:(Big time bummer..!!

The Conscientious Critique
Lucille’s never fails when it comes to great bbq and good service. From the moment you pull into the lot, you can smell the deliciousness permeating the air and inviting you in. Great decor and ample seating inside. The drink sizes are always sized appropriately, large, nothing small here! Greeting with some tasty biscuits and apple butter and are the teaser of what great things are to come. As we navigated our way through some delectable spinach artichoke dip. For our main course we rolled with some meat options and a nashville hot chicken sandwich. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was packed full of flavor and had a tantalizing snap which all sausage lovers appreciate. The ribs were tasty and the pulled chicken was really good. The mac n cheese was smooth, creamy and had great flavor. The apple cobbler and old fashioned banana pudding were both mouthwatering and did not disappoint. The Jake and the Giant Peach was delicious and light on the pour, but had great flavors! Over all a classic bbq joint with good customer service and fun atmosphere.

It is an excellent place to eat ribs, I recommend the San Louis, if you order the lemonade keep in mind that it is a super sweet drink and the person who loves sweet things tells you so, very good atmosphere I recommend the piña coladas.

I am really disappointed with this Lucilles BBQ in Orange, CA.My husband ordered 2 dinners - two 3 bone beef ribs dinner with 2 sides. A side was missing on this order. I called to let the restaurant know I was missing a side, and the young lady that answered was trying to convince me that my husband ordered it that way! She wouldn't listen to reason...I ordered two beef ribs dinners with two sides.... she kept insisting that it will be an EXTRA CHARGE for the other side that should have come with the order!NEVER GO TO LUCILLE BBQ ORANGE, CAREALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! RUDE STAFF!...really STINGY with the BBQ sauce too! I may add...

We wanted to dine at Lucille's since it has been a long time we had been to one. Food was good, using the Costco $70 for $100 gift card was a tremendous deal. We had the following: 3 Lunch meat combo $22.99 New Orleans Gumbo $18.50. Add Caesar salad $4.99. Childs Dawgs $7.00. Total with tax came to $57.52 for the 3 of us. Gumbo had flavor, but a tad bit on the salty side. 3 meat combo was good. Brisket tasted good. Ian polished his kids mini dogs effortlessly. Caesar salad was good. Restaurant has its own parking lot. Seating seemed ample. If you are in this general area, you should check this Lucille's out.

Yesterday my best friend and I were on a lunch date. When we were seated our server April was good at first...but when it was time for refills for our drinks she would take a long time and would make rude comments like " I'll be with you guys shortly, I'm busy" then more time passed and we asked again for a refill we still haven't received she said "I'll be with you guys shortly" in an annoyed tone. I got up to the bar to ask for our water refills and April was coming out with our water and said "thank you so much for your patience!" in a very rude and loud tone as she slammed our waters on the table. We lost our appetite on how rude April was being. We asked for a manager. Lisa the manager came out. She was great and apologized. Last year in January my family and I went to this Lucille's, and April was our server. She never brought refills or asked if we needed anything else throughout our dining experience. I honestly never came back till yesterday because of how bad my experience was with April at Lucille's in January. I honestly don't think I will be back specially, if April is a server there. I will have to go to the one in Long Beach town center. They always have great customer service there.
