Market Broiler in Orange is a hit or miss. I have been here twice in the past 3 months. The first time was fantastic as the food was great all around. The second time was where my opinion of the restaurant falters: from the beginning, the cutlery was dirty (BOTH times we had asked for new ones the third time they finally rectified their mistake), second the steak and the shrimp were undercooked but we had already waited 55 minutes for them when we brought it up they took another 25 minutes. A stark difference between the first time. I don't know if I'd be ready to try it again anytime soon but I believe in second chances.

Visited with my family not too long ago and Carmen was our waitress. She was very kind and attentive to our party even though they were visibly busy! Thank you Carmen for making sure our table taken care of! The flautas were absolutely amazing! Loved their salsa. Can't wait to be back again!

This place really impressed me, even as a seafood chain which I'm not always the biggest fan of. After a cold, rainy day at Disneyland, I was craving some fresh cioppino and fortunately this fresh seafood restaurant was only 1.5 miles away. What drew me in was the cioppino (Fisherman's Stew) and the free calamari or coconut shrimp with Yelp check-in (a $16 value). My husband and I weren't super hungry but we started off sharing a cup of clam chowder (fresh, plentiful clams, delicious flavor), the spicy calamari (not bad but tasty and free), and the cioppino/Fisherman's Stew (big portion, fresh seafood, good value for two people). Our favorites were definitely the delicious clam chowder which was done so well! A lot of fresh clams in every bite, not overly salty or overly creamy, the perfect consistency and balance of potatoes for clam chowder. This dish really surprised me and I would come back just for a bowl of clam chowder and their delicious free sourdough bread to eat it with. After enjoying their clam chowder, we also really enjoyed the cioppino/Fisherman's Stew with its plentiful fresh shrimp, mussels, clams, squid, half a small lobster tail, and linguine. Per another Yelper's suggestion, I first tasted the stew and then added a healthy sprinkle of red pepper flakes to elevate the dish. With that extra spice, it was delicious! The free sourdough bread was tasty and paired really well with the cioppino. We asked for extras to soak up that delicious soup. After the meal, we had a lot of the cioppino left over and took it home along with the sourdough bread. We were so stuffed from our delicious meal. I've now found a great seafood restaurant after we go to Disneyland.

So I was here with my girlfriend and my cousin for my cousin's birthday this past weekend, and it's been a while since I have been to a Market Broiler since the Huntington Beach location. I was actually surprised that the menu has changed a little bit since they took out the Manhattan Clam Chowder back in I don't remember when. Now, onto my food review: I ordered the Jambalaya, and the portion itself was perfect; only problem was that I didn't know that it was made creole style, which had tomatoes in it, since I was more of a fan of the Cajun style, so I ended up not eating the whole thing - and I told the server to go easy on the rice, and things still didn't that great. I quickly did a Google search on my phone, and it said that a "creole" jambalaya is made with tomatoes. Taking one star off for my jambalaya and another one for the menu "re-vamp" since they discontinued the Manhattan Clam Chowder.

First things first, if you decide to eat here, request GUS! Gus went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service & hospitality. Kid friendly, ensured all our needs were met, and great personality to provide an amazing dining experience! The fisherman's stew was amazing! If you ever stumble upon the opportunity to get it, absolutely worth the price ($39). It's a great choice if you don't know what you want to eat & it comes with linguini noodles to complete the dish! The clam chowder (not shown) was yummy as well! New recipe per Gus - more clams, less potatoes & less thick than their initial recipe. The clam chowder soup paired so well with the complimentary bread! Overall, the food was great & all the suggestions that Gus recommended were spot on! The kids meal was a great size & it came with ice cream as a dessert! Ambiance was pleasant & soothing. More on the quieter side but I could also see it being pretty loud/busy at night since there are a lot of gaming screens for different sports! Bar table tops are available & tables + booths available to accommodate guests! We were fortunate to not have a wait and it was not busy on a Friday at 2:50 PM- 4:00 PM! Great service, open concept dining & scenery, and well seasoned seafood & menu options! We will be back soon!

It's Market Fresh 10oz Rock Lobster Tail on Market Fresh menu of Market Broiler. That rock lobster taste so delicious and even when you dunk it into a small bowl of melted butter.

I LOVE Market Broiler!!! I've been here a few times without reservations and got seated without any issues. It's located closer to the AMC Side and restrooms are in the far corner and are always clean. The ambiance is nice and refreshing, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I've had an array of foods here and I have yet to be disappointed. Totally appreciate the Yelp Check In Deal & Offer - it's either calamari or coconut shrimp. I've had the traditional and the spicy calamari, both equally good. Clam chowder hit the spot, especially with the complimentary sourdough bread. My son loved his lobster ravioli. I would definitely recommend!

This is my first time visiting Market Broiler restaurant and Red Lobster is not the only restaurant with Caribbean rock lobster. This restaurant, Market Broiler has rock lobster on the menu. Everything and this whole place is all clean and cozy. The staff are friendly service and they are nice. Especially they are good at listening to our requests like we need napkins, water refill and requesting food-to-go as long as you have to say the magic word, "Please."Everyone needs "please" to show the sincere politeness. Do not be rude and bossy. Just politely request what you need as long as you say "please" and remain calm while keeping up with good, calm, polite manners. You have to be on your best, good, calm, relaxing, polite, nice behavior and attitude as a good customer so the staff service will do excellent service to you. That was my advice to all of you if you wanted to be treated by staff's hospitality and excellent service. And as for the food I ate, they are extremely delicious and I scale that lobster roll taste 5 out of 5 stars.I'm rating that place 5 out of 5 stars if you are lobster lovers, foodie fans and foodie tasters. Especially it is one of the best seafood restaurants that have Maine lobster and Caribbean rock lobster.

Food is good, love the bread. The manager was able to seat us right away. The waiter at the bar was nice. We love the happy hour, However, our waitress, Anahi, her customer service needs improvement. She may have a bad day but it should not be an excuse for poor service.

Carmen is the best server! She is so attentive, professional, and fun! She took care of me and my family of 10 with 3 kids during happy hour! She definitely made our weekend!!!

Awesome service from Carmen! Very nice and friendly :) Food came very fast and when my niece's food was a little behind she was very empathic and gave her a soup! It was my sister's birthday and Carmen brought her ice cream and ice cream for the whole table, never had a waitress do that for the whole table before, very sweet!

I recently dined at Market Broiler and was fortunate enough to have Carmen as my waitress. Her service was exceptional from start to finish. She greeted us warmly, offered insightful menu recommendations, and ensured our orders were delivered promptly. Carmen's attention to detail and genuine friendliness enhanced our dining experience. She checked on us regularly without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Her professionalism and hospitality truly stood out. I highly recommend Market Broiler, especially with Carmen's exceptional service! Ambiance is lively and fun at all times! Food was fantastic as always! Will definitely be back.
