I usually go to this McDonald's because it's right down the st from my house especially when I get off of work... I usually go thru the drive thru but today was just not it... They had a lady that understood 0 English taking orders... Sat at the speaker trying to explain to the lady that I wanted a McDouble Meal deal and she understood it as the Mcdouble meal by itself without the nuggets... After 10 mins I gave up and went into the store and ordered at the kiosk myself... When my order finally came out the manger was hesitant on giving me my M cup after I paid for the upgrade charge on it... I understand the English is off and everything but common sense should be used and at least a good English speaking manger should be on the floor to help. Also, the lobby was dirty.. I wanted to throw some trash away and all the trash cans were full.. service 6/10 but the food was hot and ready to take home w me.

This McDonald's at 4200 E Chapman Ave is a true gem and my son's absolute favorite. It's so rare to find a location in Southern California that has all the things we love, especially since COVID.
This spot is special because it still has:
A self-serve soda machine, which is a huge plus!
A fantastic play area for kids, complete with two tables with built-in screens and two wall-mounted touch screens to keep them entertained.
An unlocked restroom, which is incredibly convenient and a feature we've almost forgotten about.
On top of that, the staff here is always so friendly and welcoming. The fries are consistently hot, crispy, and fresh. This location is a go-to for our family, and I highly recommend it to anyone with kids in the area!

Bad. In door dining. We ordered on machine and kept waiting g for food but nothing. Turns out no one bothered to pick up order from machine - paper slip that comes out at cashier side. Order was wrong. They keep mopping floors but tables are not clean. All around the automation is not working if people running the place are not on top of it.

I went through the drive through at 3:45 PM 5/2/25, and the service was awesome. The gentleman working the drive through was so pleasant and nice, and the line moved quicker than I’ve ever experienced at a McDonald’s. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to leave this one because I was so impressed. I truly hope they pay their employees well, because they deserve it!! I would give 1000 stars if I could.
Well, out of all MCs in the area, we prefer this one. They have screens for kids and tables with screens and plays as well. They bring the food faster than in other MCs. Though aren’t nobody at the cashier’s as in the other stores but at list the screen kiosks are working. Could be cleaner though
