My family has been coming here for 20 years and it has always been the best ! Great service and nicest employees. Has a new vibe with new owners but same quality. Support small business. You can watch a game while you enjoy your meal!

Long time resident. I have gone here many dozens of times over the last decade. I have gone since the rebrand a few months ago, but going last week was my absolute last time. I have never ever had a problem here in the past. I ordered my "usual" which is the steak fajita. I'm not giving this place 1 star because the steak fajita was worse than the "old" way. I am giving it 1 star because no place on Earth should sell such a terrible menu item. It was a pile of veges on a skillet (so far so good and normal). However it was very dry (no sauce). The absolute worst offense is that it wasn't really steak. It was like philly cheesesteak thin sheets (think like what they cook on a flat top grill for sandwhiches) cut into tiny strips and sprinkled amongst the vegetables. And there wasn't even much of it. Literally you couldn't pierce the tiny sheets of beef with a fork. Obviously I have never gotten a steak fajita from this place or any place that wasn't actually steak slices. Its supposed to be a steak fajita, meaning grilled steak slices. I know everything is more expensive these days, but if you are going to swap from actual steak slices to ridiculous substitute, just take the item off your menu. Or, better yet, up the price from $20 to $25 and give a nice steak fajita. I'd happily walk down and grab a $25 steak fajita if it had real, grilled, cut steak slices. But this little bit of beef shavings off a flat top grill is absolutely trash. Serving garbage like that (who cares about the price point, it was $20 but it could have been $10) and anyone would think your establishment is garbage. I highly question anyone involved in this establishment (and many workers of there have been there since the changeover to new owners) who would think this was a good decision. Don't cut quality to make a profit. Just raise your price, give us good food, or dump it off your menu. Don't keep it there and serve garbage food.

This used to be our go to place, been coming over 20 years! New ownership has led to a nearly empty restaurant and disappointing experiences. Today, out of salsa (AGAIN), no tomatoes, no guacamole... but we were told AFTER we order. DISAPPOINTED. May just have to start going to the Tustin location.

Excellent food and really great service - everyone i've encountered has been very friendly and attentive The asada and the pastor are delicious, and you can't go wrong with the plate, torta, fajitas, tacos.. all great!

I recently visited Old Town Jalapenos and was thoroughly impressed with the amazing food and even more exceptional staff. The dedication and skill of the cooks and servers contributed immensely to a fantastic dining experience. However, I was quite disappointed to discover that their Toast POS system restricts tips to a maximum of 15%. This limitation is a disservice to the hardworking staff who deserve more for their outstanding service. I strongly feel that the restaurant owner needs to address this issue to allow customers to show their full appreciation through more generous tips. Despite this drawback, Old Town Jalapenos remains a top recommendation for anyone looking for an extraordinary meal with excellent service. My review rating will change to 5 star once the owner makes this update to the POS.Parking: There is park in the back of the restaurant.

Great place to eat! Got the carne asada torta. Only ate half. Great size and the meat is really good just alone.

Very bland food. Our burritos were more beans and rice and very little meat. The meat we did have was very bland. The salsa has very bland flavor and I didn't see any pico de gallo. The soda fountain had a bunch of little gnats/flies hanging around and that was really gross. The restaurant itself was clean, tables clean. But if you want to have much better food and a much better price I highly recommend going to Pancho's just North of here at a Glassell and Collins. Jalapeños is not someplace I would recommend to anyone who likes Mexican food. BLAND. Sorry. I really wanted to love it here because it's a great location.

You have to pay for salsa if you order out or door dash. They never pay attention to how you want your order. Food had no flavor. Mexican food? Next.
