What an amazing view! Very romantic & elegant. Perfect date night restaurant to impress your significant other. Food was delicious. Service was kind and engaging but slow to get food to the table. All in all, it was a great experience but not an A++ because of pace of getting food out.
The place is amazing with killer views. They tried to seat 3 of us at essentially a TV tray. The table was ridiculously small and to make it worse it had huge chairs. We refused the table and were reseated at a very nice one. The steak was excellent, the mashed potatoes were terrible. And i don't know what kind of steakhouse does not have creamed spinach but these guys don't, so that was disappointing. The wedge was under dressed but once we asked for more, it was very good indeed. Will try again to see if it was just an off night.
Food and drinks were really good, don't sleep on the sides and appetizers! Our server was great and offered plenty of recommendations. Location and view are great too.
Always a beautiful place to eat. Appetizer was big portion, very happy about that! Food was perfect! Always great & the view is amazingly awesome!!
Made a reservation for a party of 10. Was sat a table for 8, meaning two people in my party had to eat on corners of the table. Our server Shawn was friendly, but clearly understaffed, as he supported multiple tables and refills often went unnoticed. Again, Shawn was very friendly, but clearly overworked without support from runners or bussers to take care of refills and clearing plates. Food was excellent. Price was reasonable. Atmosphere was loud but nice. The view is incredible. Dessert was the most impressive thing.
Orange Hill has a great view, but they don't compromise on the food because of that. They offer the usual american options (steak, seafood), but done with a little twist that makes it a unique restaurant. Their menu changes often too, so going more than once a year will be a nice treat.
Orange Hill Restaurant is an absolute gem and one of the most unforgettable dining experiences I've had. From the moment you arrive, the breathtaking panoramic views set the tone—overlooking the city and coastline, it feels like you're dining above it all, especially at sunset. 🌅 The food is exceptional, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, using high-quality ingredients that elevate classic favorites into something special. The steaks are perfectly cooked, the seafood is fresh and flavorful, and the sides and sauces tie everything together flawlessly.
The food was good overall. We ordered oysters, fries, and the wagyu zabuton, and everything tasted good.
However, the experience was a little bit disappointing. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation but ended up waiting around 45 minutes to be seated. We were surprised because inside the restaurant was pretty empty but we had to wait that long time.
We specifically requested an outdoor seat with a good view to see the sunset, but were guided to an indoor table with no good view. Because of the long wait, we missed the sunset entirely anyway.
This was our anniversary dinner, so the seating and timing were important to us. While the food was enjoyable, the service and overall experience didn’t quite meet our expectations for a special occasion.

Writing this review on my way home from the restaurant. I’m not usually a review person but my girlfriend and I are mildly upset from our service experience. First off food and drinks taste and quality were 10/10 no complaints on that end. The host was also very kind my girlfriend made a reservation for 1pm as a surprise birthday lunch for me. We were sat very quickly at a lovely table outside. Our server was the main issue. We both got bottomless mimosas to start she said we could try all 4 flavors but we only where able to try 3 because when we tried to order our second one she told us they where out of cucumber mint which was very disappointing cause she said we could try them all. Also if I’m ordering bottomless mimosas I shouldn’t have an empty glass on my table for more than 10+ minutes before someone comes to take my order again. We got the crispy tuna rice to start which was amazing but our server never returned to ask us how the appetizer was which would have been a good time to get my second drink order since both of drinks where empty. Side bar not once where our waters refilled either. Our calamari was brought to the table by someone different maybes food runner? Instead of taking our empty dirty dish away he pushed it further onto the table to make room for the calamari which was a little weird. I had to flag down our server for lemon, side plates, and our second drink. Took her a while to return with our second drinks. We spilt a Caesar salad it was good not anything earthshaking. We ended up taking our mains to go because it had gotten so hot in the sun and taken so long for them to come out we had lost our appetite. I wasn’t even able to finish my third mimosa since a bug flew in and I wanted to get a new one but again our server was no where to be found. They did give us a free dessert for my birthday which was kind. We ended up finding our server at the host stand checking out a different table…. Because at this point it was 3:07pm and we have other birthday plans for the day. Overall the food was amazing but it was very irritating that for bottomless mimosas over the spans of 1-3 I was only able to get 3 drinks one I couldn’t even finish and my girlfriend was only able to have 2. Would return again for the food but would definitely be wary of service.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It took one hour for my food to arrive. During that time, I requested a change of dish and informed another server, but the replacement never arrived, even after waiting an additional hour.
I also ordered a beer, and after 25 minutes, it still hadn’t been delivered. There was a clear lack of communication between the servers. I don’t believe this is the fault of the staff themselves, but rather a serious lack of organization and coordination within the restaurant.
I ended up wasting a lot of time, the food arrived cold, and my table was left unattended for long periods with no one checking on us. Overall, the service felt careless and poorly managed.

I wish and hoped this would have been a great experience but it wasn't. My grade school friends and I came together for our annual get together. We were seated at 230(ish) outside and didn't get asked if we wanted WATER UNTIL 315. Drinks and food weren't even considered to be requested until almost 4. The server was obviously having trouble because another server and a manager came to ask us for our order. THEN, the original server had the nerve to say it's suggested we only stay 90 minutes. WOW, we didn't get service until 45 minutes, so...... We were so discouraged, we had appetizers and entertained with the thought of leaving and going down the street to Morenos Mexican food. Nonetheless we stayed and finished our food and visit. Food was good (not great), service was very underrated. Sorry. Gotta be honest.
Crystal was amazing, her dessert recommendation was 10/10. Drinks have a lovely presentation and delicious. Servers are welcoming and friendly.

I attended a corporate annual group event here and had a really lovely experience. We had access to a deck, and the night view from there was beautiful — it added such a great atmosphere to the evening and made the space feel special.
The food was excellent. I ordered the chicken and it was tender, flavorful, and really well prepared. Everyone at our table seemed happy with their meals, and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the night.
The service was warm and attentive throughout the evening. The lead server that night — I believe his name was Milton — really stood out. He even offered to take group photos for us, using his phone as lighting while snapping the picture with one of our phones, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch.
Overall, it was a great experience and a place I’d happily recommend, especially for corporate gatherings, group dinners, or special occasions.

After a disappointing attempt to celebrate my birthday the evening before, my wife and I decided a “take two” was in order—and chose Orange Hill. From the moment we began winding up the hillside, we knew we had found something special. We eased the car along slowly, watching the sunset paint the sky in radiant layers of red, orange, and gold—a breathtaking prelude to the evening. The atmosphere felt immediately romantic and serene.
Upon arriving, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by our server, Chris, whose attentive kindness set the tone for the night. He delighted my wife by confirming they carried her favorite Moscato. To start, she enjoyed the lightly crispy calamari—perfectly cooked with just a subtle, lingering spice. I savored a half-dozen West Coast oysters, recommended by Chris, whose delicate sweetness balanced beautifully with the salty champagne mignonette. We also shared a stunning salad of arugula, roasted peaches, fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, candied pecans, and fennel, tossed in honey balsamic and finished with blue cheese crumbles—a vibrant harmony of flavors.
For our main courses, my wife chose the local filet, which was so tender it nearly melted at the touch of a steak knife. I had the braised short rib, falling-apart soft over Yukon gold mashed potatoes and broccolini, all draped in a rich, savory bechamel. Each dish was prepared to perfection.
Too full for dessert, we requested the check. But Chris, remembering I’d mentioned redoing my birthday celebration, returned not only with the bill but with a lovely dessert adorned with a lit candle. It was a heartfelt touch that truly made the evening feel special—the kind of thoughtful service we had hoped for.
Thank you, Chris and Orange Hill, for turning a sour memory into a beautiful one. We can’t wait to return and enjoy another magical evening, especially on that amazing romantic patio at sunset.
