They brought back the ice cream. I like that! And, now they have tacos too. Just one kind. Ground beef. It was good. Fresh made to order French fries. Get chilie cheese on it! Its an outdoor hotdog stand on the street. with some limited shaded seating. Pretty Iconic, I guess.

This hot dog stand is one of those spots where you always pass by when you are in the area and if you are not a local like me, just always curious and never visit! Well it’s been at least 2-3 years and on Wednesday was the day! I had a meeting in the area and needed to grab a bite to eat before my meeting. Should I go to Carls or Pacific Coast?
PCHot Dogs definitely brings you back the 90s and simply love the nostalgia feeling. This spot has 8 different hot dog styles, classic fries with chili or cheese or both. So many different milk shakes and honestly felt guilty not taking my kids to enjoy a Thrifty Ice Cream. I am that type that orders a bunch of stuff and takes it home for the kids and hubby to enjoy. I got their chili cheese dog, bbq bacon dog and Tijuana dog. To me, bbq bacon dog was the ugliest looking hot dog but omg, it tasted sooooo good. Topped with a pickle spear was perfection. Instantly fell in love. The other dogs were delicious but that bbq bacon dog simply put me under a spell. Love how their hot dogs have a snap. The owner gave me a crispy taco to try and honestly that took me by surprise. It was a crunchy simple taco that hit the spot!
Keep this hot dog stand alive everyone. It needs to stay here forever or least until I die. So 40 more years!

Great hot dog stand across from In n Out burger.
What an amazing treat. I loved their Chicago Dog, with hot peppers, pickle slice, and tomato.
French Fries were tasty and lightly salted. Thin fries, but a nice order size.
I'll definitely go back and try the chili dog next

Chile dogs, specialty hot dogs are great and a change of peace, try for yourself i recommend this spot
I had a terrible experience at Pacific Coast Hotdogs and strongly advise others to stay away. The place looked dirty—grimy counters, sticky floors, and I noticed one of the staff handling food without gloves after touching the trash. I should’ve trusted my gut and left.
I had a chili Dog and frys and the frys were cold, A few hours after eating there, I started feeling nauseous. That quickly turned into severe stomach cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea that lasted through the night. I ended up missing work the next day because I was so sick. I’ve never had food poisoning before and this just felt like I was dying…
This place clearly isn’t following basic food safety standards. Until they clean up their act I literally wouldn’t recommend anyone take the risk.

I’d say this place is pretty iconic. It’s been around for a long time and my “go to” when i want a chili cheese dog or chili cheese fries!! They have a small but mighty menu. I eventually would like to order other hotdogs (like the Tijuana) but I’m a creature of habit. Portions are big. Price is decent. Service is always friendly!

One of my fav places in OC to eat. Listen: I’m a hot dog fiend and this place hits all the right spots. Their secret menu is so good, and their shakes are bomb too. My personal fav dog is the BLT Dog! I do think the prices are a tad high but I personally don’t mind paying for it. Def check it out, I can’t wait for my next BLT dog 🤌🏽

I dont get the hype The hot dog was like a boiled hot dog I think ive had better as a dollar hot dog at a ball park I ordered chilli cheese fries and dude. They put shredded cheddar on top of semi warm chilli. So gross.
