Got here at 9:00 pm and they said we are closed , 2 other families arrived with Uber and they have to wait for the next Uber to pick them up , their clock said 11:00 am to 11:00 pm but they close early and that is not cool for people that drive all the way here for you guys .

I am a big fan of Palapas food. Everything I have tried from start to finish has been great. Starting with a mango michelada which was super balanced. Sweet, salty and a hint of tartness; garnished with a Tamaroca, a mango and cucumber slice dipped in escarcha made it absolute perfection. To start they bring you some great chips, salsa and bean dip which are a nice little appetizer. We got the California roll and let me tell you, it doesn't compare to any Japanese sushi place, but was still OK. The Ceviche in salsa negra is great and full of flavor. Definitely my go to. Had to try a shrimp taco, because why not!? When I first got the taco and saw that it was made with a flour tortilla I was a bit skeptical, but after I bit into it my taste buds were pleasantly surprised. It was cheesy, crunchy, with a bit of spiciness from the salsa they provide. It was truly amazing. Definitely going back and gettin' me some more in the near future! The service could be better, the waitresses are not too friendly. The atmosphere is nice with some Mexican music playing in the background. One of the times I went I was charged for valet parking, but thankfully I think they did away with that.Kid-friendliness: Not too much to offer for kids.Parking: I have been charged for valet before, bit sure if they did away with it. I hope they did because they'll charge you to park your car 10 feet away from the back door.Wheelchair accessibility: Floor level

This place the food is so good the only Bad thing I don't understand why back in the days we had to pay someone for Parking ? Valet parking there ? now food is good great but the service from waitress suck every time I go eat there they never come an check on you they don't ask if you need anything, the only awesome person there is Gloria she is the only one that treats customers like real customers, the other lady's don't even smile or say Hi to you, they seem Mad and miserable.:( sad.

Came here for a birthday celebration & I was a little bumbed that they didn't have Banda. They still had music going though. The service & food was good. We were seated as soon as we arrived and it did not take long to have our food served. It was Cash only & im not sure if that was just that day or what but just a heads up. Also, they did not have Valet parking so you don't have to pay for parking either. This was on a Friday night. Everything else was good. Parking is in the back of the restaurant and it's a bit small but do-able. I would definitely come back when they have live Banda.

I drive by this place almost everyday but was always hesitant to stop in due to the rating and reviews but I can say my experience was the complete opposite to others poor experiences. I know this place is supposed to be for Mexican food but I was drawn in by the Cajun shrimp... (I didn't want to drive to boiling crab) I ordered a horchata, side of rice and the Cajun shrimp special. I started with being served chips with beans and green sauce to dip in. The green sauce served is my favorite kind which I hope I'm not wrong but is the avocado green sauce sooooo good. That alone started to fill me up. Then came the Cajun shrimp ...tasted the sauce and it was delicious very comparable to boiling crab. I wasn't asked a spice level but when it came it was neither too spicy or not spicy enough. Only complaint is rice was a small portion for the price. The environment was very clean and service was prompt. I will definitely be back... I took my left overs home and my 5 and 2 year old finished the Cajun shrimp.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Saw all the social media post, about how awesome tand tasty this place was. That the micheladas were amazing ... blah blah...BLAAAH...BUNCH OF B.S. Let me start off by saying this place was dead, 1 couple was there and they were done when we showed up. We went for an early dinner late lunch. Music was blasting as if it was a night club...service was TERRIBLE. Ordered our food and drinks. When food came out they forgot 1 order. Then my son's plate came out AFTER we all finished. Then we all ran out of water, no refills. Like if we were inconveniences for the wait staff. They over charged us for our drinks by 2 bucks each, according to the menu price. Not cool. Now that "AMAZING" michelada tropical...HARD PASS...1st it's way over priced...2nd way watered down...3rd wasn't good...below not good. Food was... MEEEH...GET READY TO DROP DOLLARS...DOLLAR DOLLAR BILLS Y'ALL. We should of walked out when sing says "cash only"....should of walked away. My 2 cents.Parking: Parking is in the rear.... watch out now cause looked liked some shady stuff was going down. In the middle of the day. If that's your thing, this the spot.

The worse service. Servers have a bad temper. They mix the orders. I couldn't belive that for a order of 3 plates and drinks we got charge $25 on top for service. Whatttt?.. never will came back

Haven't been here in a while the live band music was too loud and I didn't like the valet parking, no more band and no valet parking the food is awesome and very reasonable.

Tasted bad, no AC, and food took forever to come out. It was ridiculously hot inside and it took at least an hour to get our food during the week lunch hour. The seafood did not taste fresh and wasn't even cold. The empanadas had bad shrimp in them, we literally spit it out. The oysters that were supposed to be on ice, actually came out submerged in water. The sushi rice was gross and mushy. It looks like we ate it but we all shared so everyone had a little on their plate, the server asked if we needed to go boxes for all the food, no thanks. I give it one star because the mango margarita was actually good.

Be ware! Don't go! Worst service ever and food not worth what they charge. On top of that it was so hot in there very comfortable to eat. Waitress just sitting down while people need service and it wasn't even full. Once we left one of employees in back was trying to write something on my car my husband had to go out to tell him to stop as we were trying to back out. He almost seemed drunk!

We came to dine in and the customer service is the worst! The ladies didn't greet us, we had to ask if we self seat or wait. Eventually they sat us and it was not busy. They sat us down, and the first waitress came and we asked for water and she said that she was busy and she would come back to ask us. That was rude. Another waitress came and asked us and she came back with our drinks. We waited for about 20 minutes before the first rude waitress came to take our order, but before that a man walked in and was immediately sat and immediately brought a beer, I'm thinking maybe she knew him. But still that was rude to have us wait and attend people after us. We are paying customers. We finally got our food and michelada and we wanted a drink refill, no one ever came to ask us how we were or if we needed anything else, I had to wave a third waitress down for water and she literally rolls her eyes at us. Didn't respond with words but with her eyes rolling. Like wow. I didn't wanna tip, but I still did. The ladies here are soo rude openly and the food wasn't even all that. I recommend going to El Yaki for better mariscos. And better customer service.

Food is good and and have other choices not just sea food if you're not a fan of it. It can get loud if they have Banda specially if you have a baby and waiting time is a little long but if you don't mind waiting it's ok.
