My intense fervor for bakery is frightening! Was having lunch nearby, of course I had to drop in Pandor Bakery a little after 1pm. There was several other having lunch but plenty of room open. Luckily still have a broad selection from scones, several types of croissants and many others but I already have my eyes on the sliced carrot cake! The price was a bit high, about $10 per slice and I got 2 because my girls also love this cake. I ate one on the spot and OMG it was delicious! One of the best I have had so far. You can taste all the ingredients like walnut, raisin and shredded coconut and the usual spice in carrot cake. Yes I would go back and mostly will for this and maybe try their other bake goods.

2nd Update: Natalie called to inform me my carrot cake and bread pudding were waiting. The call was showing “unknown”. After everything, I declined in returning to this place again. Not worth it, due to the experience - lost a customer but Natalie apologized and was patient enough and respectful not hang up on me.
Update: I was hung up on, after asking for the mgr a third time as I kept getting a different response each time. As soon as I said I was reaching out to corporate, I was hung up on. Not worth the re-visit or waste my time and energy, good luck to this disgraceful, disappointing, unprofessional, poorly handled establishment! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, save your time and money.
I’ll be transparent, I hate sugar coating. It’s been a wild mess. Discovered them on TikTok and Pandor responded to a comment I made on someone else’s TikTok, as I already have my own favorite French bakery. Gave them a try and as a first timer, my favorite are danishes - ordered two, their bread pudding and carrot cake. The bread pudding was the least best, the danishes were so stale and rock hard, and the carrot cake lacked a lot of richness and flavor. In calling to speak to a mgr over the two danishes , they don’t do refunds, which already one more reason not to return so only exchange. Fine whatever, selected their carrot cake and bread pudding as my two replacements for the stale rock hard danishes. I’ve been in touch about this, called Monday - spoke to Natalie - (they were out of their bread pudding/did have their carrot cake - so despite my experience they never saved the bread pudding or carrot cake aside? That was so annoying but wrote my name and phone down and also managed to say that she was going to let everyone know and in addition to, she was going to be here Tues. Natalie never called to let me know about either (bread pudding/carrot cake). I call Tues, didn’t get a name but the girl was unaware about anything as if she was rigid and dismissive by avoiding in not even trying to go check for my name/place me on hold, especially after explaining that I spoke with Natalie and she was suppose to let everyone know and that my name was written down, she assertively responded and proceeded to reinforce about the manager coming in to then call. Not to mention, the phone etiquette, answering my phone the entire time and being diligent and had me on a long hold while attending other customers. I find that a “busy establishments “ should be able to handle calls and respectfully know how to manage and multitask. The Cheesecake Factory has a way better carrot cake, it’s my favorite!! And my other French bakery remains a favorite, despite receiving a response from Pandor - to my comment on TikTok. This is so disappointing, overall. Won’t be a returning customer!

It says they close at 9pm but I drove there and arrived at 7:50pm and they said I couldn’t order food because the kitchen was closed.
Prices advertised do not reflect those charged.
This place has such a good location. It's a shame every time I go there I feel like wasted money I'm very okay with paying a premium for a nice location and atmosphere. The bread for my sandwich was paper thin and one piece of bacon is a joke.

With the Paris Olympics within just days, what better way to prepare for the sites of Parisan food on your screens (if travel is not an option) is to stop at the Pandor Artisan Bakery.
As a former resident of the city, I was pleased to see a bakery in the historic downtown Orange such as Pandor Artisan. While on holiday in California, my family always makes a point of walking and admiring the businesses of the great city.
Looking for a place to rest and take in the sites we came upon the bakery. From the alluring entreeway to the aroma of pastries and café one might envision they truly are in France!

Now, I am a BIG FAN of pandor and the food it has to offer. However, I have now had multiple encounters at this specific one that have made me very upset. According to a male worker, their crepe batter had been left out for too long to the point where its dairy products got “yeasty” so they couldn’t make them. For more information, it was 5:30 and they were closing at 8. First off, maybe put the batter in the fridge to help it not go bad. Then, when I asked if they could make more batter they said they don’t have the ingredients to make it. Crepe batter is made up of eggs, milk, flour, and salt, and you’re telling me a food place is out of those ingredients, two and a half hours before closing? I know this is not the case because I have had multiple encounters with this location to where they weren’t making crepes later in the day. Due to the employees behind the register having to make the crepes, it is out of pure laziness that they do not make them. The managers of this establishment really need to up their game in hiring people with positive work ethic.

Omelette was good but the service lacks. Asked to warm up croissant but they said the oven is broken. Baguette that came along with omelette was crispy and hot as it came straight out of the oven. I don’t know if they were just busy and didn’t want to waste their time on warming croissant or genuinely their oven broke down after warming the baguette. Also the employee seems like they don’t know about their own menu.

Had the croque madame with potatoes and my friend had the farmers omelette.
To be totally honest my croque was just okay. It lacked seasoning and flair. It was very simple but the potatoes were tasty. My friends omelette was good but nothing fanciful.
We liked the atmosphere and the pastries were delicious.
If you get there at 9 am you will find parking on the street in front of the restaurant. Otherwise you will just have to search the public parking lots for a parking spot.
Parking: Parking early is easier than the afternoon. There is a public parking lot on Lon north of Chapman.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat for brunch with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed our time here. They keep a good stock of pastries and tarts for display and they make pretty good sandwiches as well, all in all if you’re looking for a cafe to hangout at this place is great! Located in the orange circle and love the overall ambiance.

I’m honestly shocked at this experience. I came to lunch with my friends and we were having such a nice time when one of the workers asked us to be quiet ? Definitely not good hospitality. It’s a cafe where people come to socialize and eat. We’re paying costumers and our experience is being policed by a worker. I’ve never heard of/had this happen. They also definitely don’t have AC. It was so hot inside. You’re honestly better off going to Urth Cafe down the street.

I can almost smell the fresh coffee and pastries. Imagine sitting in a cozy corner of the café, watching people pass by as you enjoy a warm croissant with a rich cup of coffee. And later, perhaps indulging in a delicious sandwich paired with a cold, refreshing beer. It's nice to take a moment to relax and savor the simple pleasures in life.

While we were waiting for our orders, the attendant wiped one of the tables and then wiped the floor with the same cloth. I've never seen anything like this before. This is so unhealthy and disgusting
