This Pitfire Pizza seems to be a newer location with the same great menu as other locations that have been around a lot longer. Very clean, with friendly staff. They have pizza ice, which made my beverage the perfect compliment to my pizza. I will definitely be back.

Love that they have an affordable afternoon happy hour and a large menu!
The pizza tasted like the tomato sauce had soap in it, and the food was so salty. Too much salt, not edible. Crust was burnt. It took a lot of time for the order to come back. Very bad experience, do not recommend.

This was the worse pizza I have ever eaten. Pizza size not very big and hardly any sauce, cheese, or topping. Dough was burnt and thin. I will never go there again.

Waited over an hour for our pizza to come out when the restaurant was not crowded. Ordered at 6:44pm and pizza came out at 7:49pm. We watched two parties that came in and ordered after us leave because their food hadn’t come out yet. I’ve been to the Pitfire in Costa Mesa and was surprised at how different the service and quality of the food was at this location. Our pizza was so chewy and the crust was inedible. It seemed like perhaps they have an issue with their oven not getting hot enough. The Buffalo wings were also really rubbery and hard to eat. Probably wouldn’t come back.

1st time here during lunchtime. Only 3 other tables. Ordered a side salad and cup of soup. Awhile passed before I went to the counter to ask them to please bring them out. Took a bit for the chicken pesto pizza to come as well, which was dry. My friend wanted a side of ranch for her pizza ($2 for a tiny cup 1/2 the size of a shot glass). Service was pretty non-existent. The crew stayed in the back mostly. Several people picking up to go orders had to knock on the kitchen door for them to finally come out. BE AWARE THEY CHARGE A “HEALTH AND WELLNESS” 3% charge to all orders to help “pay their employees”. A single, small sign at the end of the bar notifies you of this hidden charge.

First time there. Service was great and the food was amazing. Happened to be happy hour which worked out perfectly.
Awful experience. Me and my friends came in to order a drink and a pizza to go. The lady behind the bar with large earrings was very unhappy that we even talked to her. She said we close in 6 minutes! I said “okay we just want a quick drink and a pizza to go.” She fumed at us and stormed into the kitchen not to return. The cook behind the window seemed embarrassed by her behavior. I don’t know why anyone would dine at this Pitfire location if that is how customers are treated and management thinks that’s okay. If I walked in to any restaurant and an employee said “unfortunately we’re closed for the evening. “ I won’t bat an eye and move on. But she was so mad we walked in with 6 minutes before close she just walked away. Sad how low Pitfires’ service has become.
Went there for lunch. The place was supposed to be open at 11 and it wasn’t at 1113. Multiple people walked away at 1105. We rerouted back. The lady was miserable who was working. Seemed irritated we were there. Not friendly at all. While waiting for our food she was in the back and a couple more people came in and waited a couple minutes and walked out. This lady is literally costing them money. But whatever, pizza was ok.
Great place to enjoy a tasty pizza, before heading to a baseball game or an event at the Honda Center
